Lol heck no foot and hand are not as easily reparable as shooting trough some muscles

Imagine getting shot in the middle of your hand. You’ll never be able to use contract 1 or 2 fingers since the tendon bones and what ever else there is will be sectioned in two
I can’t imagine how much of a long job it has to be for these surgeons when that happens

Can any misc doctor weigh in on this ?

Well according to an episode of 24 that I saw it's better to get shot on your leg, above the kneecap, and making sure to miss the femoral artery.
All it takes is Mookie Betts, Steph Curry, and Joe Burrow all sitting in the same car in order for one drunk driver to make the world a significantly better place.
