Difference is rehab works. Jail makes ppl worse and produces gangsters. Jail also ends up costing more.

It would be a prison, but a different kind of prison. You've seen what prisons in Norway are like right? And it would have a goal...to help people get better rather than just punish.

The drug trade produces gangsters, jails just house and feed them at exorbitant markups to pay the administrators and officers

When u treat a mental health issue as a criminal justice issue, this is what happens. We had good results from decriminalizing suicide attempts and making ppl go to the hospital rather than jail. I think a similar approach to drugs is needed.

I've asked some of my American friends why they don't have reservations for black people the way they do their natives, they got very upset lol. I sill don't understand why not.

You shoot at cops you're likely to end up dead. His fat ass definitely could have handled the situation better, but in the end her fat ass shot at him so of course he's going to shoot back in self-defense. Hindsight is always 20/20, but if I were in his shoes I would've taken all her weed, given her a citation, and told her that her boyfriend's car is under watch so if they take it out on the road again it will be impounded due to having multiple associated warrants. That simple interaction could have been 20 minutes tops and both of us walk away with our lives.
