I'm trying to cut down on drinking. Still a lot but I will succeed eventually.

I'm not a Christian but I got the Bible in my kindle, King James Version. I think it's a great reading. I'm gonna reopen it because I think I need it.

Thanks my friend, for sharing the insight. *bow*

So much edge.

You do realize that religious and/or spiritual people are, on average, happier and healthier than non-religious people, right?

Also, kinda laughing but also kinda saddened at Wincel having his worst meltdown yet after being banned and resorting to posting literal sh!t videos.

I do most of those and I’m miserable. I think the key is to be born with a good brain.

What do your hormone levels look like? If you don’t know then you should probably get them checked.

That's true, and I love Jesus, but Church these days really is a scam to guilt you into giving them your money.

Sure some, maybe even lots, are. But there are also countless great churches across the country who do things like operate soup kitchens, build safehouses for abused women, create environments/activities for the youth to have a constructive place to gather, help people battle addictions, raise money for people who are going through a tough time, etc.,etc. So in many instances if you are offering your money you can see where it is going. Plus the it takes time, money, and people to really operate an effective church. Again, of course there may be churches that are wasteful, but if that’s the case the solution is as simple as finding a better church.

But I don’t want this thread to turn into just a pros vs cons of church/religion. If someone follows all the tips except going to church I think they’d be doing well. But I will say it’s strange how some people have been programmed to be so adamantly against church or religion that any mention of it automatically turns them off to everything else that’s being said.

Glad you bumped this. Repped.

I didn’t see it first time around.
I’m not catholic but if I had to guess this guy would be against what the pope and vatican are doing these days. I believe whatever religion you are or even if you don’t believe any of it, the world would be a much happier, healthier and peaceful place if everyone simply ‘tried’ to follow what Jesus taught us.

Even if you don’t believe he was real at all, his message was simple and effective. If everyone treated themselves and everyone they come in contact with like Jesus said to we’d be in a much better world.

I’ve been far from god several times, I felt hate for ‘him/it’ even at one point and from personal experience life mentally is much more fulfilling when you choose to open up and have a personal relationship with Christ (or whatever Gods energy is). People say ‘sky fairy’ etc but there’s something to it that they have yet to experience. It’s something humans probably aren’t capable of understanding but it IS there. Whether it comes from within or into who knows.

Having love in your heart for your fellow humans isn’t beta. True compassion and empathy for others is a strength and you don’t have it for any type of reward but you are rewarded. That reward is usually more positive energy added into yourself. It becomes contagious to others that witness what you’re doing and seeing positive outcome, then transfers from them to the next and so on for whom ever picks up the same positive behaviors towards their fellow man.

Being a degenerate and living your life ‘in sin’ will 100% make you miserable at some point. You’ll realize you’re in so deep you can’t get out. It goes for everything of that nature. Those things may feel good and bring temporary pleasure, it’s fleeting…. and given enough time what once made you feel good now controls you and makes your life a mental hell.
This body holding me, be my reminder here that I am not alone.
Makes me feel eternal, all this Pain is an Illusion.

OP it's Sunday morning shouldn't you be at church?

Did the government close down your churches or something?

Only one I don't do is sleep.

There's too little time for sleep.

If I sleep for longer than 5 hours I feel like I'm wasting my life and it just makes me feel tired.

Nutrition > sleep when it comes to energy for me.

Get nutrition down and I'm energetic all day and night long.
