It's SUUUUUUNDAY night, wagecels! Click here for another fun fact!

What's up, wagecels? Are you ready for another week? Did you enjoy your 2 days of freedom that you traded the prior 5 for? Ready to do it again... forever? Remember that it takes about 3 milly to retire (probably double that after the inflation bomb hits srs), so lez be honest, you will die on your feet at your wagecel job.

The next day someone will replace you and no one will speak your name ever again. Just like that. The place where you spent most of your life, it's like you were never even there.

Fun Fact of the Week - Here's what $1T looks like in $100 bills. Just 1.

Trump printed $9 trillion just to give to corporations and the wealthy. Now Papa Biden is printing another $2 trillion. For the median earner in America, this will erode at least 10 years worth of savings lol! Politicians just stole a decade of life from you, in literal terms. For what, poorcels to get $2k? The rest goes to the people at the top lol!

How neat is that?

At least you don't have to interview, right?

brb are you a "rock star?"
brb do you thrive in stressful environments?
brb do you sacrifice your personal health trying to reach unobtainable standards of perfection?
brb do you like dealing with a bunch of backstabbing snakes in the office?

Fun fact of the week - Billionaires in the US have added over $4 TRILLION to their personal wealth in 2020. Meanwhile, the middle class LOST $4.7 TRILLION in personal wealth. LOL @ plebcels!

Pictured: the wealth "trickling down" from the ELITES to the working class

FUN FACT: Wages haven't changed for essentially 20 years now lol! What do you think has happened to the cost of housing, education, healthcare, insurance, energy, and everything else in the last 20 years??

Has your brain already switched to "work mode," anticipating the stress of trying to please Mr. Noseberg for yet another week? Is this how you envisioned your life? Trading the next 5 days of your life so you can spend the following 2 trying to forget about it? Then rinse and repeat until you die?

Economic fact:
If you were born in 1950, you had a 90% chance out doing better financially than previous generations.
If you were born after 1980, you have an 8% chance of doing better

Reminder: you drive a tradie truck and work a wagecel job. You are not in the club. You aren't one of them and you never will be. It's socialism for them and rugged individualism for you.

They gather on verandas to literally laugh at you for being a useful idiot plebcel:

The only "FIRST!" that matters is who is first into the office on Monday. Mr. Noseberg will definitely take notice and reward you at evaluation time. Not srs.

I won't lie Ernie. This is straight up going out in a blaze of glory fuel. Good ole Ted type of day dreaming. Makes you idolize the IRA and chit.

I haven't had the Sunday scaries in all my time in my field and I'm saying this as someone who actually loves the line of work I'm in and couldn't care less about consuming, so money really isn't an issue. I can't imagine what it's like for someone who has a job they hate just to keep up with the joneses, or even worse, just to pay the bills. Christ. I understand why you get so much hate lmao.

It happened to a guy I used to work with. He was always captain positive, mr. go getter. He worked insane hours, almost every weekend even though he had a wife and 2 young kids at home. He volunteered for every project.

After he died, we had a 30 minute meeting to discuss who was going to cover his desk until a backfill could come in. Then it was like he never existed.

He won't pay able to buy a new one next year if you don't slave hard enough. Remember - your self worth should be largely based on how much money you earn for another man.

Reeling pretty bad right now ern. Bit of a rager last night, had about 16 drinks and energy boosters and was fumbling around in the grass looking for my lost keys at 5am. I did finally find them, but life is not good today.

Here's to writhing away in bed chugging water with a nice five day work week looming. Living the dream

I’m starting my day tomorrow with a dispatch to replace a UPS at one of our clients, and then I’ll be heading into the office.

For my blue pillers out there - remember that sloots won't respect you if you don't provide for them.

Do you want to get married and have kids or forever be a "loser?" You are only good to them as a beast of burden.

Pandemic has been a godsend in terms of remote work though. But when work piles up it sucks even more than being at the office.

Do you get away with anything in IT? I used to work with a guy who would be like, "oh, reformat a hard drive? That'll take a couple days at least! I'll let you know."

The old banker fukks couldn't tell a hard drive from a CD-rom, so they just went with it.

Depends. I work for a managed IT provider (outsourced IT services, helpdesk etc for small and medium sized businesses). Some clients have their own IT staff but others don’t and you can basically tell them whatever. I never try to rip anyone off, but I do just randomly make chit up whenever I don’t know how I got something working

LOL at 'are you a rockstar?'

So ****ing true. I get tickled pink by officecels when they cope with that kind of lingo. Some of the **** I've heard:

- "I need people who can grind here" === "I need other unfulfilled losers to sit in front of an excel spreadsheet for 12+ hours a day but need a verb to feel cool about it"
- "we are the quarterbacks of the company" === "I was never the QB in anything ever. In fact my entire life was spent on the sidelines watching the real QBs of life, but now that I have some minor degree of importance I need to relive my high school fantasies. I also have a dad bod and am out of shape"
- "so and so is an absolute rock star" === "so and so works twice as much as everyone else, sells their soul to corporate networking, life out of work involves talking about work or gossiping about coworkers, likely has no major hobbies, interests, other cash flowing investments, etc. all this to get paid maybe 10% more than their peers and promoted a year or two earlier."
- "we work hard but we also play hard" === "If doing this soul sucking job for 60 hours a week wasn't enough, we also have plenty of happy hours, work dinners, and drink in the office that you will be expected to attend - especially if you want to advance in your career. All of us were the losers in high school and college that never got a chance to party, so now is our chance to play catch up and get drunk, hit on each other, gossip about who is sleeping with who in the office, etc. all in the middle of the week. Also because of this lifestyle we all are fat, overweight, have no real hobbies or interests".

Just lol have heard and seen it all before.
