When it comes to spec ops who decides who gets called in? What makes you choose seals vs delta force, etc?

Didnt read this but recently read another book on Skorzeny called “The Devil’s Disciple”

It was an interesting read, lots of primary sources. I will say that Skorzeny’s popular history reputation as a badass operator and his moniker as “the most dangerous man in Europe” is sort of overblown. He was a really smart guy, didn’t have much tactical or combat experience, and his best moments came in situations where he used his wit rather than brawn or tactical skill, to succeed. Watch the video about his mountaintop rescue of Mussolini, pretty fascinating film of a daring plan.

Not sure about the best but i know for a fact that the australian SAS were always the longest self sufficient elite units when in the middle east. didn't have the luxuries that the other units had. maybe thats down to resources but they still got schit done. and i know the yanks loved working with them. its still a pi ssing contest tho

Yeah, America basically sucks dik in everything competitive

Very in the box thinking, very 1+1=2, no thoughts that the value of 1 can be changed... nothing... just 1+1=2 and no outside the boxness

You see this across the board too, in poker these lads get ruined by the Europeans, in MMA, they have the majority of the fighters, yet proportionally fighters from outside the USA do better. Cus of course they train in a very 1+1 manner too

Basically had to create their own sports because they were getting gaped in every other sport, and resorted to only competing against themselves

They just get exposed when the rubber hits the road.

Their 1+1 thinking is good for societies on a grand scale, but in terms of excellence on the individual level/small units, very terrible... very terrible indeed.

I feel like the average American is so dim witted, you could literally talk circles around them, and they'd get dazed like... like a hypnotized bee as they tried to process everything you were saying, and basically you could make them suck ya dik without them even realizing what's happening or that your dick is now in their mouth. Their individual minds are like CPU's from the 1960's

And they'll read this and they'll think it's not the case, but ya dik is already in their mouth and they're choking on it while they think of a rebuttal

Delta Force is an army unit, seal team 6 is a naval based unit so where your deploying to probably plays the part, you are splitting hairs between the effectiveness of those two teams, either one is gonna get the job done.

Do you think all that eliteness actually makes a difference in their missions, or could you just send in a bunch of randoms and get the same outcome? I doubt anything they experience comes close to what they do in training.

Americans are literally treated like cattle by their establishment owners. Fattened up, kept in pens (cubicles) and milked for everything.

SAS best in the world? Probably
They are the grand dad of modern special forces and some of the best curve ball thinkers. American spec ops may be bigger and better funded but they seem to be more down the line.

Most SOF groups usually have a niche they specialize in. No individual force can really be “the best” at everything as such a thing probably doesn’t exist.
