It pays ( literally ) to be rich or famous, lol.

Denver's District Attorney dismissed Melvin Gordon's DUI charges today due to evidentiary concerns. The order was entered this morning by Judge Olympia Fay in Denver County Court. Attorneys Eric Nesbitt and Robert Malen represented Gordon.

Buccaneers informed WR Chris Godwin he is being franchise tagged, per source. Tagging Godwin mean Shaq Barrett and Lavonte David are scheduled to be free agents, though Tampa has discussed deals with both players.

Will I know that feel when QB? Looks like maybe not.

We have some money to spend. Wonder who they will target for non QB players. Probably a LB and a receiver? Dunno. Mock drafts seem split on a LB or OT with pick 19. Though maybe you just take the best available non DL player at that spot

Outside of Haskins (fml) Washington has gotten pretty good production at all levels of the draft lately actually. Couple of hidden gems. All the DL picks playing solidly.

The Redskins have a top-tier D. Unfortunately, they have been snake-bitten at QB, though.

My team has a studly offense, but absolutely no pass rush.

Saints are restructuring QB Taysom Hill’s contract to create cap room. Details are great: it’s a 4-year, $140 million contract extension - but all years are voidable and it’s a mechanism to free up cap space this year, per source. It saves Saints over $7.5M against cap this year. Taysom Hill’s contract numbers this year include a $9.686 million signing bonus, a $1.439 million guaranteed roster bonus and a $1.034 million guaranteed base salary, plus incentives, per source.

Bears will be saving just over $23 million of salary-cap space this week by converting the 2021 base salaries of LB Khalil Mack, S Eddie Jackson and OL Cody Whitehair into signing bonuses, per sources. The moves will give the Bears more firepower heading into free-agent week.

Jonnu Smith to the pats is a great find for them, dude was a playmaker for the titans so I was shocked they were letting him walk. Vikings apparently in some talks to some bigger names in FA since they some how went from -4million to +12.5million so they got money to spend now

I feel like Green Bay could have used this money elsewhere to help the team. Could have resigned Jamaal Williams cheaper, and they have AJ Dillion who looked like a beast when given the chance. Packers still not considering a legit WR2 for Rodgers to throw too and get some heat off Adams.

I still wouldn’t rule out KC making another splash at LT in FA but if they draft one instead, the best thing for a young LT would be a pro like Thuney next to him
