This is what the US will be srs. Conservatives are losing the culture war, so the Republican party has 2 options:

1. Lose every election, eventually fall out of existence, and be replaced by a more moderate/liberal "conservative" 3rd party
2. Skip the losing part and go directly to more moderate/liberal policies to pander to the new electorate, after which all actual conservatives become "alt-right"

there's many different and alternative "end-game" to these culture wars, however it's been waged for a very long time and throughout history

one has to wonder how far it will all go before it reaches critical mass and there is an equal and opposite blowback to all of it. or does it just keep going/trending in one direction until the end is nigh. sometimes there is significant opposition to all of this but the overall trend is moving further <--------------, there's chit that once we normalize/accept, that are never gone back on.

it's really been a slow burn since the 60s though where family values/nuclear family have been slowly eroded, people have replaced religion with wokeness, more govt dependency, more recently a re-emergence/hypersensitivity to racism, diminishing educational standards, etc.


republicans could be fine depending on who the next person is that they can get behind. I think a slightly less extreme version of Trump (but someone who is still willing to call chit out) could do really well. I don't think democrats are exactly in the best position either but who knows.

Their end game is literally putting men in camps and castrating little boys, they'll never get there though. Democracy won't last, 'fascism' will come back but it will be a good thing.
