I remember hearing the name tactics ogre so long ago, but never played. Dated graphics don't bother me, and I like to emulate on my phone. Was a ps1 game right?

I haven’t owned a Switch since my kid moved out but I’m considering getting one today.

I’ve had a Switch Lite. I miss the tv mode...

I felt like the Lite had less lag on Smash but I think it has lag regardless, it’s smash ?

Muzzipress you’re all elite at the game, how do you get around lag issues?

It's not too bad with a good connection honestly. Of course you're gonna have a tiny bit of input lag, but a good wired connection helps.

I tend to not play at home after I moved since all I have is 10mps wifi, so I'd lag my ass off.

Just beat Super Mario World by the SNES Online. Great game.

There's nothing else that comes close to the satisfaction of hearing the victory song after beating a boss

Any issues with Soda Popinski on NES Punch Out? He’s the guy I always always lose to!

I guess I’m known for mytrollposts but I’m being completely honest and serious that I just traded my oculus quest 2 for a good old Nintendo switch cause at least I’ll play it. I regret nothing.

Gonna set it up play Bowsers Fury.

Are you referring to the game on the Switch or the game for the OG NES? I haven't played the Switch version, but I know that with emulators the timing can be off (input lag) on a game like Punch Out.

I had the nes back when My boy Iron Mike’s name was attached to it.
I rarely if ever got past soda. I will get to him then screw up. Dream is super hard though.

finished 3D World and I'm on that Bowser's Fury time now

34 cat shines in, pleasantly surprised by this addition

it's a completely seperate (small) game, always thought it would be an extra world for the main game or something

this is how you justify a port for full price

I’m halfway through Streets of Rage 4. I am REALLY digging the story so far. The cutscenes between each level are unvoiced; they are animated still images and told with text . Comic book style.

The side scrolling beat em up combat reminds me a bit of ninja gaiden from NES. Way better graphics though duh. I will be playing the coop today.

It's AC Odyssey mixed with BOTW. It's pretty tight. Plus being Greek mythology is the cherry on the top. You have it?

I spent "30 hours or more" on 3D World in total (you can see this on your profile) and I'd guess about 5-6 of these went into Bower's Fury (finished the main story and 72/100 cat shines at the moment)

you could do this faster I suppose but I took my time

"3D World" is a port of the WiiU game, the DS game "3D Land" has nothing to do with it (assuming that's what you meant?)

Clearing level 12 in streets of rage 4 is a good challenge. That’s just normal difficulty. 8/10 amazing **** em up brawling.

Thanks for the info, good to know there's good hours for that game. I see, I got 3D Land and 3D World confused lol. 3D Land was pretty dope I can just imagine what the console game is like.

What makes DK TF a 10/10 game? TBH I have only played like 3 levels because i'm too busy finishing pokemon sword and playing some mario here and there. Country for SNES is a classic

I'm into platforming and it's the GOAT sidescrolling platformer

it has taken everything that worked in the past and perfected it, added some new dynamics, diversity in level design, visually stunning (srs, some of the levels will make your jaw drop) and of course the music... hngggggg

I'd suggest playing a bit longer to get the feel for the game, 3 levels may not be enough to get you hooked

just don't use Funky Kong, it's an unnecessary addition that actually ruins the game if you'd play it like that (srs)

Dkctf original classic mode , it’s hard. You may fall and die a lot. I’m playing that and going to start Immortals Fenix Rising.

I read Crash Bandicoot 4 is another very good port. I’m waiting for Hades and Monster hunter rise so I will skip crash personally.

I did DKTF to 100% on classic, I haven't tried the 200% thing. Funky mode is a bit too easy.

Funky mode is just such a walk in the park. Classic is the greatest Nintendo game ever made IMO. Great software company produced best game I have played on Switch.

Usually hate games like but Hades. But damn is it fun.
And nothing better to play till hopefully some more Zelda stuff shows up.

Anybody ever dabble with FF X or XII? It’s on sale in the shop. I played VII which is obviously goat.
