Current physique update. Am I gonna make it?

Holding a lot of fat in the mid section and chest that needs to be tightened up. And my poor posture just makes it look worse.

excuse the dirty bathroom cleaned it right after taking the pic.

IMO looks like you are right around the corner. Already better than like 95% of the population. like a solid consistent ~2 months will make you look amazing. But it'll probably be the hardest months lol. Good adonis genetics. A tan will do you some good haha

in my eyes sometimes i looked great in the morning, so then I whip out my 5+ year old phone and try to take a pic and I look like a potato in the phone.

was contemplating upgrading to one of the new fancy phones so I can take better pics but with a >$800 price tag just for a phone it's hard for me to justify it

I'm not really trying to cut this year, but I am holding on to my 10% pretty well.

I may take some Birthday pics, as I am soon to be 50!

My knees were shot this year. I'd get excruciating pain just walking up the steps, so I stopped all leg movements for two months or so.

I am ULTRA dyel mode if I don't train legs, so I said **** it and gave it another try after rest didn't help AT ALL.

What helped was doing

1) Regular stretching, especially hip flexors
2) Bulgarian split squats on a *low* box at the start of every leg workout. Started with peasant weight and moved up 5 lbs a workout. I found out I have a big imbalance between my right and left leg that may have caused my problems.
3) Regular high bar squats, but I started back from 135 and really focused on 8-10 reps and pushing my knees out wide towards my toes.

I am back up to 230 x 8 now with ZERO pain and it only took like 6 weeks. Still peasant weight for the years ive been training, but better than nothing.

ty for tips. I think today I'll do some BSS with poverty weight like you said if I can find the room in the gym. Then going to try hopping on Hack squats w/ low weight and leave it at that for the main leg movements.

I've been starting all leg workouts with stretching, low weight leg extensions and lying hamstring curls for some blood and mobility.

NP.

Here is a video of the movement. I just made my own box from leftover wood and I use a barbell. If you do any squatting type movements, see if your knees are tracking inward at all.

Recommend you use the mirror or pics as your guide as to when The Shredz appear and not the scale.

First day back to training.

I did rack pulls...even the bar felt heavy.
Seated Rows and Standing Reverse Pec Dec.

135 lbs max weight on Rack Pulls.
I'll increase each session.

Then off to chiro...

When the gyms opened back in August I started doing Rack Pulls for my right shoulder.
Chiro was miring the progress.

I made huge improvement to my mobility in the shoulder....then the next shut down in November.

So back to Rack Pulls.
I'll start every WO with them.

Nest session will be delts.

Soon macro tracking.

Then THE SHREDZ!

Keep inspiring me guys!
