What's the consensus on how much is needed to retire these days and live a comfortable middle class lifestyle? I'm curious for those that have seen a financial advisor what the recommended amount is. I'm guessing in the 3-4 million range.

I dont really have a "number" per say. I have a spreadsheet where i track my 401k, pension, salary, and other sources of income and then expenses. Mainly i try to make the goal of picking a "date" of where my final number is the same or more at say....99 years. And that's *only* with 401k. The pension, other savings, rental properties, and post tax savings are just gravy.

Sounds like you've got a good mix of assets so that even if one has an issue you're covered.

Most financial advisors know jack **** about anything other than pushing their products. That said, I retired when my net worth was above 50x my projected average annual expenses.

I am figuring 2-4mil based upon how much my job is demanding from me and stressing me out. I have a wife with a mediocre income and govt benefits. no kids, and no mortgage BTW. Obviously factors like that make a difference.

I love fantasizing about leaving the workforce, I feel like it's 50% of my headspace, lol.

I've been in OMI since the beginning on Feb, I don't know if it will dump after Uniswap listing, but that's one of the platforms. Tokenomics are deflationary though, so that's one reason why I have recommended family and friends to buy a bag.

As far as the others... I am selfish when it comes to crypto. I don't shill or share until I've got myself a nice bag. I don't have enough in the NFT platforms I've got my eye on, when I do I'll share/shill.

OMI is now a top 50 mcap. If it gets to 5 cents then its a top 10 coin. Don’t know if that is possible at this point unless all the top 10s take off or OMI gets listed on non backwater Asian exchanges. Still would be worth holding but now you would be happy for 100-300% gains

You dont need millions to get out of 9-5 you just need to figure out how to spend less.

It's a long term play from here on out, not for swing trading. May best brah has made good gains because he brought weeks ago, but I've even advise him to make this a long term investment, and he has no problem sitting on it for a few years.

Deflationary tokenomics + more licences and NFTs being rolled out regularly means that IMO this is a Blue Chip (a solid project and a long term hold).

They haven't even dropped the NFL NFTs yet, which might make it extremely popular. (Equivalent dollar value of tokens are burned every time an NFT is purchased from the App. People can buy using Fiat or OMI tokens.)

OMI has to pullback at some point. Right now it´s massively overvalued. Other NFT platforms have a lot more users than OMI/veve. It´s being massively promoted by youtubers and pump and dump groups. Shillers are saying OMI will dominate the NFT space but that is just speculation. It´s also very centralized, but the deflationary burn is an easy selling point to attract investors.
