But the facts regarding what they did are so inspirational. Srs


brb unlimited control of British monarchy/gov and most of Europe was like this as well

brb as a result all of them were considered tax evaders, smugglers and criminals

brb take a ****ty and risky voyage

brb make something of your own, even if you just come and say to natives "we just have to be here and we taking this, sorry"

brb essentially avoiding unfettered gov control






The only thing as alpha I can think of is either the Nigerians fighting Boko Haram jihadis in their villages (because they defend where they are born) or the Italian-American mafia who were like "No, governor, I will do things my way and **** you if you don't like it" within the USA:

George Washington inherited his wealth from his father and wife and that money was made on the backs of African Americans

I think they collectively created something beautiful but let's not pretend these guys were in any way 'self-made', they were essentially aristocrats.

Benjamin Franklin I believe was the exception.

It's an interesting tale. When I spent some time in Boston for work, I made it a point to do the freedom trail and learn more about it.

I wouldn't call it 'inspirational,' though.

This is straight up false, especially after the invention of the cotton gin around 1800.

Cotton was our biggest export prior to the civil war & we were the biggest producers of cotton in the world at the time.

Slavery before the civil war was booming economically.
