starting new job tomorrow (dear diary)

didnt work for the last 2.5 years (uni).
now money is tight after i spent most of my savings by now, so i got myself a job at some public inquiries center, where i would basicly just take calls all day from people that are mad at the police for giving them a ticket and chit like that.
its a part time so i believe i can fit it with uni.
even tho its a dumb minimum wage job im still excited and nervous before the first day.

any tips for those days? and overall? besides dont be a *******.

also, tips for hitting it with sloots from work? i saw there in my intreview alot of 7/10+.

Sounds like pure agony. What is your major? Try to find a job in the industry you want to work in after graduation.

Seems like a dumb job but at least you'll make money to get by + have something to do in your free time.

All the best OPie.

Just make conversation with the hotties. Ask them how long they've been there, what they do for fun and that sort of thing. Be personable and friendly but don't come on too strong in a work environment

Good luck m8.

Don't crack on to the girls too hard, especially if they are your superiors. Focus on the pay cheque

Good luck with your new job brah!

As far as your first few weeks, biggest thing I've learned from training others is to actually LISTEN. I can tell pretty much immediately who was actively listening vs. who was just following me around during onboarding. It sounds dumb, but I wish I did the same thing when I first started working.

You'll naturally interact with sloots during lunch, parking lot, outings, etc... I wouldn't even force it, focus on that check and advancing yourself.

Good luck OP. It's always scary at first, but you'll be glad that you did.
