Such a different environment than where I live. I’d like to try ice fishing at some point. Damn, 1 fish per person does seem really strict. They set the numbers for wildlife management though. That’s what many lack to understand and hate on hunters when they have no idea what it’s look like if we weren’t allowed to hunt anything.

We pick gallons of blueberries and blackberries, and as mentioned I love picking mushrooms. Already have a mushroom vid planned.

Also, if all goes well (I am not too busy) I may sneak off a film myself going through the ice and self rescuing.

One fish is only In a small spot. Other limits are much more liberal.

I might sneak out and catch some crappie in the morning.

Wildlife management is key. Trappers get accused of just wanting to kill everything. Last thing we want is to kill everything. We need sustainable harvest and good populations.

Nice Nice I love mushrooms. If you marinate them and charboil them you can make great tacos out of them



Mushrooms are great at absorbing the flavour of the wood or charcoal, give them a try when you can

We get chanterelles, black trumpets and chicken of the woods. Puffballs too. I dehydrated a bunch of the trumpets and they are great in soup
