However, they look more like "Dravidian" Indians than Africans.
Gypsies are also Indians and have that white/black/Asian look at times.
It's likely that Gypsies were part of some miserable caste in India and left to get away from it. That's a good explanation for these people too.
Africa is too far away from that part of Europe and it would take black Africans a lot of travel whereas India is closer by land and many Gypsies ended up in Northern Europe due that that reason.
As a side note, midgets are highly related to inbreeding, I recently read that, and these poor folks probably weren't super popular with the locals, lol.
