Are they scared? Just don't know how? Really leaves your entire physique lacking if you don't squat.

Squats always been a major weak point for me, pretty much stuck at doing two plates. Lower left side of my lumbar seems to play up every time I get in the full ROM of squatting so really heavy weight doesn't agree with it. Gotta see a physio and chit but it's stupid to ever neglect compounds

Thanks brah. I would always squat super deep in training so that I could cut it a little higher at meets and still know I was good. Plus, the weight would feel easier.

PLUS, it's just better for your overall strength.

In your first post its looks like you care; because you want everyone to have good squat form so everyone ends up looking better than you.

Dude, it's just a half-serious motivational post. This is still a fitness forum. He posted a sick video squatting ass to grass to show his results as well as to remind others to squat better -- just articulated in humorous misc fashion.

squatting regularly will shrink you. same with deadlifts. those exercises permanently compress your spine. Look at Arnold. he's legit 5'8 these days. he was 6'1 peak.

we live in a world where every inch matters.

even if it's just 1 inch. would you want to lose it? from 6 to 5'11.

john wayne and clint eastwood remained relatively tall because they didn't lift.

In 5 years I went from not being able to squat much more than 225 to squatting a little over 400 1RM.

Focusing on squatting helped me get over 300 but after about 330 or so I started having to focus on flexibility, strengthening posterior chain, working on balance (right leg was way stronger, more coordinated than left)

I already have a bulky lower body. Staying low body fat and having good muscle tension automatically gives me a very athletic looking lower body.

I do squat but don't care about squat gains. Just do it to keep the muscles active.

And I don't think it's healthy for your spine long term to load pressure on it. Even with good form. But I could be wrong.

It’s mostly laziness for people. Second is mobility. I’d recommend spending a little money on a mobility guide like thishttps://www.mindpumpmedia.com/maps-prime

If you’re cheap like I am, better start researching mobility. Mobility=flexibility+strength/stabilization through movement.

I was a leg press/curl/ext bro until I was about 20 years old. Gained zero pounds and strength between senior year of high school and then. Started squatting and front squatting and all of a sudden gained 20-25 lbs and upper body started getting stronger. Haven’t looked back since.

Not impossible, but very difficult and uncommon to get hurt if your technique is good and you take care of your mobility and flexibility.

This. and besides, check out the rest of their workout. I would bet all their exercises suck. Most folks want to go in and throw weight around, but no one wants to study it. No one wants to learn the science or technique.
Even the "trainers" at every gym I have gone to have no idea what they are doing.
