People are brainwashed/sheep

All of these covidiots running around with masks and businesses refusing service to people who aren't sick and don't want to wear a mask

America will soon be a communist country where the government tells you what to say, think, do

Mass media is heavily controlled and filled with propaganda and subliminal messages

What can you do when you live in a brainwashed society full of sheep who believe in whatever they're told?

If the government had a top mathematician say 2+2=5, people would rethink math before questioning it

Why don’t you question 2 + 2 = 4?

Not even a top mathematician convinced you of that one. Just some sloot who decided to teach 1st grade was all it took

Not gonna lie if a top mathematician said 2+2=5 wouldn’t it make more sense to believe them than the sloot who taught you it was 4 when you were a 1st grader?

That plus sign is an arbitrary rule.

If your teacher holds up 2 x 3 and shows you 5 fingers you tell her that’s wrong. Why?

If a top mathematician comes out and says the way we do things is wrong I bet he has a better reason than the sloot regurgitating what she learned getting pumped by Chad at her state uni before molding your young mind in 1st grade

I didn't vehemently defend anything, I simply answered your question

Yes, the symbols in mathematics are arbitrary and the principles behind it are abstract but they can be universally applied to formulas which provide precise, logical conclusions 100% of the time with consistent results whenever the same inputs are used

The symbols are arbitrary but serve a practical purpose. The symbol without the meaning would be useless. The meaning is an assigned abstraction

I live in an area where the mandates were recently lifted. Do you know what happened after the mandates got lifted? Businesses got MORE strict about enforcing mask policies. Businesses who served me without a mask during the mandate are now more adamant about denying service for not wearing a mask.

I'm still wrapping my head around why. I think it's because these sheep now have the illusion of choice. They're convinced that everyone is wearing masks because it's actually useful in protecting them/others. Their proof is social proof - because other people do it and businesses still enforce it, it must be good for them
