I started my career working with special needs people and they should be called "impossible needs" kids.

It was my observation that having one will drive some people insane.

It's endless chaos, like owning a monkey.

Even weirder is that some types like Downs people can talk, but none of their ideas are rational. So, you're dealing with a talking irrational person who are too stupid to know they're irrational, but thinks they're dead serious and correct.

Stupid people think they're smart, and so they are endless trouble.

All these bros on the misc talking about not having kids, in the next breath will talk about white genocide and the fall of western civilization but can't make the connection from their nihilism and the rot of society but blame something external like liberals or immigrants

I'm too selfish to have kids and I don't see myself sacrificing my personal space for anyone. If one day that changes, then I might be inclined to have kids, but I doubt it'll happen.

We live in a world where drug cartels chainsaw people in half and you think antinatalism is disturbing?

You’d be insane, a sociopath, or an ignoramus if you hadn’t ever considered antinatalism in your lifetime

Status and money.

Some people have a genuine passion for their jobs too. But that’s more likely to be the exception rather than the norm.

I don't want long hours and have passed up on job opportunities that would have me on conference calls from 7am to 9pm. Been there, done that.

I don't think having a child who is a wagecel is causing them to be miserable over their life. Some love their jobs and they are giving back to the community. Remember in the 1800s that people didn't have convenience appliances, so women were working around the clock cooking and doing housework back then. It's not like times were easier.

I have worked 16 and 17 hours days, sometimes more.

In one job I had last year I was doing 80 weeks, it was crazy.

I am extremely dedicated and recently I had considered getting a cat, and I'm like, do I really have to will power to love a cat right now? I need to wait until the gf returns to live with me to get a cat.

Meanwhile, if a cat walked up to the door I would probably love it.

The one person here said all of this is due to "status and money" and that's a beta response. When you have massive responsibilities, you're like a priest in your field. You are giving to the community and you can't stop.

In the healthcare field you must continue until the job is done. Today I was dealing with a suicidal kid and I had to go at it for hours after quitting time, and I had no food at all, but you can't be like, I need a burger, brb. You have to just act like you're okay and keep at it. Then, after I ate I got super sleepy, then went home and wrote all the documents, passed out during writing the last one, woke up, finished, then fell asleep again.

After that, I have art projects that need work and I watched a movie.

Meanwhile, I'm hoping the suicide kid is okay.

I agree and see this as a reason I don't want kids, I am selfish with my money and even more so my free time. However I think that comes more down to just someone's personal desire to have kids. I mean I know parents who love to give up their free time for their kids, while others have become alcoholics and would do anything for a day to themselves. If you truly want children you would be happy to give up your free time for them, no matter how selfish you are.

It's because white men aren't known for having game and judging from the misc in large part depressed, anti social, and suicidal. Not to mention many white men climbing clock towers and killing innocent people on a regular basis now for the past 20+ years.

If you do meet a white man with kids chances are he is a cuckold 1 in 4 married Anglo men are.

It's true though. I make over $100k gross this year at 25 in a lower-middle CoL area and I'm still thinking I'm not making enough. I say that as a dude with no kids, but does have a GF. Unless the GF makes $50k+, and plans to work their adult life, marriage would otherwise feel like a burden. Kids too. Taxes for being married, and having kids, is nice, but it doesn't make up nearly enough for the costs along the way.

I'm the type that would calculate the total cost of the kid from Age 0-18, including food/bills/schooling/healthcare/clothing/vacations/car/college, and realize holy chit I could've retired like a decade sooner instead.

I'd probably puke at the diaper changing crap. A companion in life who is on the same page would be interesting though.

If you are rich then having kids make sense to pass down your wealth. But if you are some working class pleb having kids is the last thing you should do.

The amount of time and money that raising kids requires will be too much on your meager wage not to mention you already have no freetime outside your wageslaving job.

All for what? To bring in the next generation of wageslaves that the upper class will exploit and use up?
