Sorry i haven't been active much lately, just not been on the forum much and wanted to keep my mind off things
I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma today, don't know stage yet. Got an appointment with my hematologist next week, we'll see what happens
Not gonna lie brahs even though I knew it was 99% lymphoma I still cried when I got the results. Thanks for all your encouraging words and let's go and beat this sh*t

Refuse to be anything but successful? They make money.
Refuse to let this break you - there is no other option. Focus on eating the best you ever have, follow the doctors orders.
You’ll get through this if you stay focused, you’ll make it bro! I believe it.
Chemo will be rough, alternative is worse. You’ll be stronger once this is over, both mentally and physically

I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia when I was 19. Turned my life upside down, and I went through 3 years of treatment. Won't lie, brutal at times, but honestly get through the hardcore and then the maintenance stage was alright.
Keep the spirits high. Caffeine often helps with the chemo for some weird reason. You'll get muscle aches and cramps - use a hot compress. If you're having Intrathecal chemo, drink a load of water before and a load of water afterwards - lessens the headaches.
NUMBER ONE AFTER PMA THOUGH.
Speak to your doctor about steroid usage. They'll tell you that it's better to be alive with ****ed bones than dead with healthy bones, but just put it on their radar that you want to limit the risk of Avascular Necrosis, which is where the steroids impair the bones ability to heal, and essentially dies. You don't want that if you can help it.

Find a lymphoma support group as those will be the only people who can relate. Take more walks in nature and start going church even if you're not religious; it helps. You are young and you have your whole life ahead of you brah.
