Someone already said it ITT, but get yourself into as cheap of a living situation as possible (live with family if need be), invest as much money as you possibly can, and then retire early. If you make $50k/yr, which is basically national average, and you invest all the take home pay, which would be like $40k a year, then you'll be set. $40k/yr invested with a 12% annual return from investments would turn into over $1.1 million by 12 years. And at that point, your investments would be making $100k+ a year by themselves just staying invested in the market.

Do your research, make a best guess, you'll either retire by 40 or waste a bunch of money you'd have only spent on booze and frivolous chit off Amazon anyway.

Lob it all into AT&T now you get a 7% dividend + however much it goes up (honestly value it at 50, 60% increase there).

find a side hustle.
Flipping gym equipment was a big one not long ago but more people have caught on.
I do know guys that are doing really well flipping appliances - often not doing more than picking them up, putting a coat of paint on them, and then selling them for $50-100 profit in a manner of days

Jfl look at the recent yearly returns on T.[/QUOTE]Sitting at 30 now, which is the lowest it really goes, dropped down from 40 due to the DirectTV cock up...
Going back to 40 at least, there's a 25% upside. I personally value it at around 50, with the dividend, lack of debt, market share and move into streaming. If it was valued like other fking stocks you're probably looking at over 100.

Some may call it whining, but it's only whining if you continue to complain without taking action. You are undervalued, and underpaid in your current position, we've established that is a fact. Now is the time to search for an employer that appreciates your talents. Polish that resume and start shot gunning out applications right now.
We can't do anything for you aside from offer suggestions and encouragement which is more than what I've gotten when dealing with 9-5 wagie hell.

I think you're right, it is time to start shooting out applications again. There are definitely better roles available
Best of luck with your endeavors too. We're all gonna make it brah. On r/c
