Monogamy isn't a society thing, evolution actually preferred monogamy in humans. That's why most humans want it. Evolution favored when men remained with one partner and provided resources and efforts into their offspring.

Men want to sleep around more, that's true, but we also have a desire to pick a partner and stick to them.

This is completely wrong lol. We are a tournament species, not a pair bonding one. All apes are.

There is almost no historical record of humans even attempting monogamy until it became culturally enforced in very recent history.

Boomers and most of gen x had monogamy. Millennials are fuked unless they settled down before tinder came out and even then it’s going to be hard.

I prefer monogamy, but honestly if the 2 women are best friends and maybe Lesbian it could definitely work. 3 is too many

That said, most guys can barely handle one. And what about cost of living?

Historically fertility was higher in strict monogamy than polygamy societies.

Look at frontier USA, Australia and Canada: pioneer women were spitting out as many as 9 kids. Even on YouTube I see these monogamous Filipino families in the countryside that have no problem spitting out 6 to 10 kids despite poverty, LMAO.

Yes some Muslim Warlord, Sheikh or Sultan can father 30 kids but they usually needed dozens of women to reach that number and it's less efficient compared to the above.

And single mother societies do worse than the prior 2. Look how many single mommas only have 1 or 2 kids, max. And society has to bail them out with welfare and free housing so taxes must go up on monogamy and polygamy partnerships.

lol it's not up to me. That's our natural order and we have been sliding faster back into that way of life for decades now. The 1950's aren't coming back. Ever.

So cope however you want, but that's the way it is. Monogamy is dead. In a couple more generations, marriage will be mostly dead too. There's no escaping it.

Concubinage isn't necessarily the same as a contemporary male having 5 FWBs or even a Muslim in Chad with 3 Wives.

For some reason East Asian upper class men had chit fertility in the past so they needed to pump dozens of women just to make one male heir.

Popular culture for example things the Japanese Royal Family is an uninterrupted dynasty but in actuality they had to rely on a lot of adopted males and concubine females (who could had easily cucked the Emperor). Very little chance that the royal family of Japan are even genetically connected to the progenitors.

A big issue with this is that about 50 years ago and before almost all people grew up with people they married. So, you went to school together, fell in love in school, and became a couple.

Now, almost no one mates with a person they actually know for more than a short period. In relation to growing up together, five years is a short time. Ten years can be a short time.

Sadly, people don't get to bond easily and so there's isn't true friendship loyalty.

Someone you grew up with is like "family" so she/he is like your "sister" you can marry. I'm saying that humorously but to also make a point. You are less likely to betray family and if they annoy you at times, you aren't going to dump family.

Meanwhile, someone you just met six months ago is easy to dump because you don't really know them.

I love movies and a popular type in the 40s and 50s was Film Noir.

They were secret communist movies about how messed up modern society is due to capitalism. They were always about how untrustworthy every single type of person in a big city is. So, no one knows each other, everyone has a scheme, there's always a hustle, people are perverts because they can go an hide in a city, and so forth. They always featured a good guy main character who can't win and dies, gets ruined, due to wanting to live in the city.

So, our whole culture has turned into this type of things. It's mostly caused by the destruction of small town jobs, etc so people have to wonder around for work. They also have to be socipathic and use "charm" to "sell themselves" to get friends and mates.

That's what ******** are part of, you must sociopathically stage photos and strategically pic posts to convince others of your value.

All of that has messed up people enjoying exclusive relationships.

Bunch of uneducated *******s itt.

Monogamy wasn’t invented by society or religion as a form of control. Monogamy existed across many different societies, some completely isolated from the world.

Evolution doesn’t just work on the individual, it works on what is better for the tribe as a whole. In short, our behaviour evolves along with our bodies to give the tribe a net gain in survivability.

It’s like you could go around raping every woman but survival of the fittest laws applied at a tribal level means you won’t survive long enough. Society and our culture evolves around us, not the other way around. When women ended up in the kitchen, that wasn’t society brainwashing us that was best, that was nature telling us that was best and society adapting to us. We couldn’t for example risk the mother of our children dying on a hunt.

If you took away monogamy, most of you won’t survive. Real men will take your woman away if one wanted to be with you, and most won’t get any women. This will leave women feeling undervalued as they are just on a Rolodex for the top 5% males (think concubines), men far more aggressive as now they fight for the ultimate prize (lol if you think career and money is the prize, it’s always been about the mate and literally passing your legacy on) and entire society would collapse.

Non monogamous societies could work on smaller communities or even larger ones under tyrannical control, but not in any normal functioning society

And op, your attitude is exactly what society is trying to brainwash everyone into right now. That’s why so many sloots, destruction of the nuclear family, throwaway society.

No thanks, rather be in a wholesome family like my parents, grandparents, uncles and aunties. Just because you been surrounded by fked up relationships due to feminism poisoning the west does not mean monogamy was ever a bad thing.

He is correct.

In Evolutionary Psychology humans evolved in this way:

1. Men bred typically with childlike women because they are cute like kids and males and females are triggered to protect kids.

2. Are large children who can have babies.

3. Orgasms mixed with the cuteness create very strong bonding.

4. Babies are cuteness and alarm machines.

5. Both males and female respond to the baby's alarming cries and super cute noises.

6. Children create further bonding with their cuteness and neediness. The success of taking care of the kid increases male/female bonding.

7. Couple stay together due to all of this bonding.

In modern times the philosophy is that cities ruined this bonding, as adults can hide from each other.

Example: a guy sees the baby he produced, hears it cry, gets scared, and he can run away and hide somewhere in the city and so he never gets to see the cute stuff that creates bonding.

so why not just have a relationship with a beta and **** chads on the side. The best of both worlds ? The Beta will raise chads babies.

This is how it works in nature ***gots. This is where it is headed. Open hypergamy. Everyone knows the deal now - there is no charade of being a wholesome family everyone knows every chick is ****ing some other dude than her husband anyway.

Men now accept this. You will gladly have betas willing to provide for you and marry you and let you **** people on the side.

I mean this is where we are. This is how nature intended it to be. Women are the choosers and selectors of evolution.

Men it's time to be a cuck or you don't even get a hand hold. Got it ?

are you kidding me - bro now since we don't live in a jungle anymore there is no repercussions to females mating strategy. Females don't need protection from a bear or support - females don't need to be locked down to 1 man to make sure her baby survives. In jungle days the betas would kill the chads babys. We don't live in tribes no mores and we have laws and ****.

We live in modern times with brains hardwired to monkey times. Females literally have unrestricted open hypergamy with absolutely no consequences whatseoever.

Because it provides the most stable family environment for kids. (This results in less kids growing up into criminals, which means...) Because it kept society functioning properly.
Because it necessitates commitment, loyalty, and mutual-respect from both parties, reigning in the wilder tendencies of both of the sexes.
Because it's socially, spiritually, and physically dangerous to just bang a bunch of people.
Because sex is better with someone you can grow accustomed to and get along with.

But, let's abandon all that because it's "oppressive" to have sex with just ONE person. If you aren't "living your best life" and exacting "your truth" it's because the white nationalist patriarchy is systemically cok / slot -blocking you.

^^I think this is largely why the success rate of modern relationships has sunk to an all time low.

Dating has become more like window shopping for women, or a job interview for men.

It’s too easy to find someone new these days. Which makes people expendable commodities and negates any chance of meaningful bonds being made.

Maybe it’s me but eventually I get tired of one girl, so I move on to another or I look for another challenge. I get that marriage is a sacred establishment and you’re supposed to fight for, support and love your partner forever but were we really designed that way?
Yes it was designed that way. But we have degenerated as culture because of abandoning God. Lots of people here are reasoning off assumptions that lead to contradictions (such as naturalism). No matter how many chicks you sleep with, it will never give you long term satisfaction. Personally, I haven't had sex in nearly 4 years, and I am nofap. Once you get to that point, you realize people are suffering from spiritual illness, especially if you find God. Not that I am perfect or condemning anyone, but that's my viewpoint.

No, we are not monogamous. If we were, then cheating and being unfaithful would be the exception to the rule, but it isn’t.

We are just animals, once you get off your high horse and start analyzing human behavior you will realize this.

Yes, monogamy is better for society, but nature doesn’t want a productive society, nature wants the best genes being passed on. That’s why Mr Sawyer gets hard when looking at his 20 year old secretary while his wife is at home taking care of the baby. It’s really that simple.

Slut shaming should be brought back immediately, the problem with that is that even with slut shaming, social media prevents people from truly knowing which one are the sloots.

20 years ago, if you saw Becky talking with Chad one day at a party and then going home with him, you could aware Brad which was fuking her the night before. Nowadays it’s really hard to know who’s fuking who. Chicks basically have and endless amount of options on their DMs, and it’s all done in private. 5 texts later and she’s taking an Uber to a Chads house, nobody really finds out, that never happened.

20 years ago if you want to reach a girl, you either talk to her IRL and in public or you call her house phone, potentially talking to her father/mother etc. Nowadays it’s free for all.

Same for monkeybranching, how could your wife/gf meet somebody new when she’s with you all day? And when she goes out she’s with you? If she meets a guy at a party that the liked, well that’s it, it’s not like the dudes going to be calling her house phone or going to her house, I mean it did happen but way less frequent.

Now, girl and guy can be talking for months trough DMs, and again, nobody really knows. She gets bitchy with bf or husband because she knows she has options waiting for her, literally would help her move the very same day.

Basically there’s hardly any commitment nowadays.
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

If you happen across a fat bitch, again treat her as the scum she is. That will end fat bitches. Realistically, none of this will happen unless resources become much more scarce.

You don't even need to lie and cheat. Just don't get into a relationship. If the sloots see you as their most alpha option, they will stay monogamous to you without the need to discuss it.
i was being sarcastic bro - it's such a sad state of affairs you can only laugh about men's state in society. One thing I think is more effective - fake being a simp for awhile till you get it in - she thinks she understands you. Then start mind****ing her over and act like a chad and treat her like the piece of **** she is. She will feel like she got used by a beta.

The 80% should be the most redpilled - just think how bluepill you have to be these days - women treat you like **** and you still believe in fantasyland. lol. do most people just not have a backbone ? get rejected left and right and accept it just wow

I can guarantee any man worth salt who goes from a non chad to a chad through financial power and success will abuse that power to it's fullest extent. i'd be groping chiks left and right and treating them like chit lol

Back in the day, if Mary grew up with Joe and Joe hurts his back at work, Mary will stick with Joe because she knows him. She saw him when he was doing well, jumping around, playing, and she knows Joe didn't mean to hurt his back and she has sympathy for who Joe was before he was in pain. Sympathy is what keeps couples together.

Now, Joe hurts his back and the woman will think he's "lying" and he's "Broken" and "getting older" and that he's a useless object going to cause her "trouble" and she will dump him. Males have the same attitude so it's not just females.

There isn't enough time in modern relationships to get to know the other person, so no matter how much you like them, something can change and it will ruin your beliefs about the other person. Females are QUICK to lose interest at the slightest thing. However, if females think of you are "family" it's a different story.

This is one reason why religious stuff works well on women. It's a form of appealing bigotry. So the religious woman looks at a strange man and says "Oh, he's catholic, a jew, etc" and that makes him family.

I don't think there's a high quality way to replace growing up with potential mates. The only thing I can think of is to find a girl that literally has almost everything in common with you.
