I don't blame the people of North Korea, it's the leadership. It's all they will ever know unless things change. They grow up to hate America, yet they live like this while the rich and government officials are living like kings. If they saw the real truth and opened up their borders, they could get the help they need.

Dave Chappelle said something about South Africa and apartheid, which I think everyone should understand as it applies to a litany of issues and topics in the world.

I don't believe their country has 25 million people.

So much drone footage of Pyongang and you don't see cars nor people outside. Serious. And they don't have the stable electricity to keep people indoors either.


I honestly think they got fewer than 500,000. 25+ million people died during the 1990s famine. They don't tell the world because they don't want to get steamrolled and then charged at the Hague.

Emigration was always a pressure valve release. Likewise, the first serious farmland confiscations didn't happen until a few recent years. The black governments literally waited like 15+ years before making a serious move.


The question is why didn't White Zimbadwaeans fight but I heard the UN was threatening to send Indian blue helmets after them so that demoralized them a lot?

Thing is everyone kinda benefits from North Korea in a way. The SK military gets jobs and so on. NK justifies American military budget. China gets a buffer state. All 3 could be on it.

No it wouldnt. Essentially you guys would be fighting on your own. NK is a homogenous country and an attack on them is almost an attack on an indigenous tribe of people. China/Russia and your NATO allies would turn on you immediately. The US literally has no allies. And a war for you guys today would wipe out your entire economy.

North Korea only exists because China lets them. They share a border with China, so if they fell, America could literally be on China's doorstep, which would be a problem for them.

North Korea gets their money from trade with China, and the rest from South Korea. If we stopped trade with them, the country would literally fall.

Ideal scenario would be to combine North and South Korea into just Korea, and have the South take over. South Korea is one of the most technologically advanced countries in the world.

I did a massive research project on North Korea for a class in High School, chit is brutal over there.

Remember this is USA that took 3 weeks to take Baghdad even though most of Iraq is a flat desert, the Iraqi army deserted en masse, Saddam apparently hated anti-tank weapons and modern anti-aircraft weapons, massive air superiority from USA, etc. And arguably the last holdouts would persist longer than that too. Germany beat France in WW2 quicker than that. Bush only declared 'victory' on May 1st (March 19 campaign started).


Yes North Korean soldiers are starving, lack fuel, etc - but we're probably looking at 20 weeks to subdue them is my guest. Mountains are a bish to fight through.
