Thanks for reminding me, I’m going to go watch some Tyson Fury and Rocky Marciano highlights to cope. In all seriousness it is sort of humiliating all bias aside, considering the ratio of white to black people in MMA, there is a disproportionate amount of success relative to their percent of population in the sport. Although if you were to make this thread a month ago, you could have said 4/8 men’s UFC champs are white, considering Stipe Miocic and Petr Yan were both champions in their respective divisions just recently.

Seems like there is a lot more successful black fighters in the last few years though, when I got into MMA 11-12 years ago the vast majority of the best fighters were white, some exceptions were Anderson Silva, BJ Penn, Rampage Jackson, and Rashad Evans. But at that time guys like Fedor Emelianenko, GSP, Chuck Liddell, Matt Hughes, Randy Couture, Andrei Arlovski, Josh Barnett, Dan Henderson, Sean Sherk, Rich Franklin, were either the top guys or most well known.

Whites were on top till the last 3-5 years it seems, there has been a breakout in talented black fighters. Which has sort of
caused a competitive back and fourth exchanging of titles. When you look at the top 10 of pretty much all the divisions it’s pretty diverse where as 5+ years ago the top 10s were predominantly white.

Studies are going back and forth but looks like we don't lose muscle nucleus's, so some gains (which happen better at a young age) are kept throughout life, and the ability to quickly regain muscle (muscle memory)

Youre right. Im not saying that there aren't fast twitch dominant white guys..but I remember there was an area in Jamaica that they tested the people there..and almost Kl were fast twitch dominant....what prompted the testing was because a particular area particular area of Jamaica produced a lot of world championship sprinters...and the test showed they were all of west African ancestry. I spent time in prison and it was crazy the amount of black guys that could dunk and bench 315 with zero or little training whatsoever.

There is some truth to this but it's mostly cope. A lot of african ethnic groups simply have higher bone density and different skeletal frames than caucasians. Average white guy of the same height and weight and body fat percent of a black guy the black guy will have a slight physical advantage. This comes out in elite sports where every little difference is multiplied.

Caucasians can compete at least unlike mongoloid asiatics.
