Of course I'm going to be in a minority when most people lift and can't accept that a lot of women won't prefer that physique or are simply indifferent to it. The thing is, if 20% of women are really into that but only 5-10% of the guys meet that criteria then if you have a good physique that means you're always going to be in high demand. That doesn't mean that it's preferred by a majority of women though. If you're not fat and you have good facial aesthetics that'll be good enough for most women.

What's "very muscular"? Let's just say what we'd consider a decent lifting physique here on the misc.

Facial aesthetics >> physique/personality/height/money/status.

Physique on its own probably gets you as far as height does or any of the above.

You're right. But it does help you with the average looking women cohort if you're also average looking.
And if you get extremely big, then you'll appeal to a certain niche of women (ex. 250lbs and lean ish).

I think what's also important is that guys who are muscular (and I say this as someone who is 200lbs and lean) areviewedas being full of themselves or automatically get some stereotype on them. Most women aren't into that "type" of personality (even though it may be grossly inaccurate). So they'd rather pass.

but if you're an average looking dude, lifting is your best shot realistically. It won't help you at all with the attractive female cohort, but it'll help with the average looking ones.
