Just watched "Free Solo" doco. God dam at how women stifle progress

Watched the free solo doc, palms and feet sweaty as fck. The guy is a sociopath. But fck me, his gf is a nightmare lol. He never falls and then she starts climbing with him and he has 2 falls in a month. Then when he's about to attempt the greatest climb in human history, she's there telling him she had dreams of him falling and that he should consider her before he does these climbs.

Jesus christ, how much progress has been swayed because of women manipulation. Absolute kunt

Never watched the doc, which is something I should do, but I'm mirin this dude's apathy towards death. There's pics of him just smiling, a mistake away from dying. Absolutely no fk's given, he just wants to climb. Love it

There were a couple or a few(?) who have died already doing that. Honestly if he does, it would be on his feet while doing something he loves, as opposed to on his knees doing something he hates, which is how most people are living.

I also would love a peak in his mind, though.

I have heard women referred to as "dreamkillers" and have experienced this in real life.

If you love the woman you will not know she's doing it until you stop being delusional.

A big issue with women is that some are insanely jealous. They will be jealous that you like a TV show, a game, another guy, your job, etc and they will try to undermine you. I don't think they even know why.

Women are adult bodied children.

Grew up a member of same climbing gym as Honnold but was never lucky enough to meet him. Was proud watching his documentary knowing that a local made it big although he still seems to be a relative unknown unless you're a hardcore outdoor enthusiast.

I think a woman being a dreamkiller is just a sign she isn't the right one. When they do have your back it can also really elevate your craft.

But yea, even just a few months ago I was dating this pretty crazy one during a very big project and it totally fukked up my workflow. Barely noticed it until we severed ties, and a week or two later was crushing it. She was a succubus, just draining the life outta me. I'm sure women deal with dudes who do the same thing to them. "Energy vampires" so they call them.

They had a segment in the doc of him going through an MRI. Results showed that he had a low density of dopamine receptors n need an extreme high to feel anything. What he feels climbing is probably like us climbing a small tree. Born stoic

He's alpha af. Spoke about how his previous ex's said they would miss him if he died n he said he would respond with, 'No, you won't. You'll just find someone else in like a week'

That situation where his gf dropped him, both of them are equally at fault. Neither of them tied a stopper knot at the end of the rope to prevent this from happening. Both the belayer and climber should have checked that. First thing you always do before putting a hand on the wall is a buddy check and make sure everything is in order.

He is. But 99% of his climbs are with ropes and a harness. He spent countless hours/years on that wall figuring out and memorizing every single move. He doesn't just walk up to a random route he has never seen and immediately hop on it free solo. Yes, mistakes that are out of your control has caused deaths with free solo climbers. It's a calculated risk. I'm a climber myself and although I would never free solo nor would I ever condone it, I can understand why someone may want to.
