ADHD bros, asking for an opinion (srs)
My best friend has been taking ADHD medicine for the past year, legally prescribed from a doctor. However, as far as I know he has never had an attention problem, just got it because he thought it would make him more focused at work.
The dilemma has that his overall well being has gotten worse and worse since. Now, he's incredibly selfish, narcissistic, arrogant, overly talkative, and I've seen his body shake before which freaked me out. Also lost a lot of weight. I know that the weight loss and body shake are symptoms of the medicine, but are the personality traits likely caused by the medicine?

He’s basically taking meth everyday. Of course he’s going to get addicted, and have personality changes as a result.
