How would you have handled this response?

Asked girl I’ve been seeing for almost 3 months now if she wanted to have a movie night tonight. She says to me she’s going back home for the weekend, but can we take a rain check for next week. I say yea, just let me know when you wana do something. In my head I put the ball in her court to see whether she really wants to see me or not. Although she hasnt given me any resistance since we began seeing each other.

Now thinking back I’m not sure I like that response from me, however, I also did not want to ask her for an exact date as she a little vague. But now I’m thinking I should’ve just said how’s Wednesday or something. I think I’m also just overthinking this.

You mentioned you catch feels fast - you need to be conscious of this and get it under control, srs. You don’t want to be in a relationship that you’re more committed than your partner at an earlier stage, that’s when jealousy and paranoia sets in and won’t be good for the long run. If you’re feeling like this after 3 months, think how will you be after being together longer.

Distract yourself with your hobbies and focus on you more, taking care of yourself has to come first.
