On my first day in Ghost of Tsushima lethal difficulty, it took so many tries before I got to kill an enemy leader and it was pretty brutal, but once I got to kill one, it became easier from there. It's mostly about getting used to how enemies attack.

Tried Dark Souls 3 today. Got to basically the second level and was throwing my controller. How the hell do people enjoy these games, it was just totally frustrating. Yes I'm a pathetic gamer.

You're not pathetic. It took me 40+ tries to beat the 3rd boss in Dark Souls Remastered (my first souls game). It takes a while before the game clicks. DSR took me about 30 hours before I "got it" Once you get it the game slows down a lot. I went from 108 hours to beat my first DSR run to being able to beat all the bosses in just under 3 hours. It took me about 20 hours to beat DS3 the first time and now I can beat all the bosses in just under 4 hours. Keep at it and you'll eventually get it. You're not going to be instantly good at these games right away.

Continuing with Fallen Order on and off again. I think I'm about halfway.

Started Tales of Vesperia on gamepass. hnnngg missed a good jrpg. Haven't played a "tales of" since Symphonia.

Been making a lot of progress with Ghost of Sushi. Finally met the Straw Hat Ronins. They look cool. I just realized that I progress more with my console games than in my PC games because when I play console games, there are less distractions, but when I play with PC, I alt-tab from time to time to check other stuff and there's friends in Steam also asking me to play with them.

I would wait and see what Nintendo announces in the next 1-6 months. There are very strong (credible) rumors that there will be a Switch "Pro" late this year or early next year. And it may have DLSS 2.1.

Anyways, there are a ton of great first party and third party exclusives on Switch.

I have no problem playing the game on max graphics (remastered setting) and the game still looks beautiful even being I think 5 years old or something? The reason to turn down graphics to the lowest during node wars (large scale pvp) is to not only increase your FPS, but the higher your FPS, the "quicker" your skills land and do damage. Some classes are heavily reliant on high FPS to dish out quick dmg and skills. If you like MMOs, I highly recommend BDO if you're not into old skool ones like WoW or FF14. Honestly, BDO is next in line and no other current MMO is worth touching. BDO has definitely changed for the better over the years and since Pearl Abyss took over Kakao in February, updates and the over customer service has been way better. PLENTY of classes to play from, the graphics are amazing, and it's your "action-combat" playstyle and not a single "tab targeting." This is probably why I've been on BDO since release because it really gets you active in the game and really feels like your keys that you push matter (and it does). Here's a nicer pic, playing the newest class Sage and I'm lovin it.

Odyssey is pretty awesome too. The next AC better have an awesome setting.

Picked up this armor in the game to transmog. Looks badass.

Saved this Japanese girl that was taken to a Mongol ship, and she spent days there with the Mongols. Dayum. And during the real Bunei no Eki (first Mongol invasion of Japan), of course there so much more that were taken to the boats. Heard that many women were even strung together through ropes through holes in their hands and were hung around the ships. Brutal af. (just a side mission so dont worry much about the spoiler)

I just discovered the Tales games last year and I think it's good that Symphonia has an anime style of graphics, so it's still very playable now even with it's age.

Spidey Miles Morales - story I’m liking even more than the main game so far. I swear I’m becoming spectacular at using miles abilities and his arsenal to fight this game on hard settings.

Days gone - it’s a near perfect game so far. Depending on final cutscenes it may be the best game since Tlou.

Was playing minecraft for the first time with my cousin and a bunch of his friends. ngl, the game is pretty chill and great, especially on some drinks and herbal cigs and a few of em are minecraft pros they've been teaching us the ropes. We built one big massive base, with automated farming , shelters for mining. Pretty much binged on it for a week everyday but after that there's not much to do other than just grinding and i'm no where near creative to come up with some of the kind of structures and stuff they're doing.



As for my sp games I'm playing Hitman 3 and Yakuza like a dragon, both of which are great. Hitman 3 looks so good though with the rtx on ps5.

I almost started this recently. How you liking it so far? I feel like it'll sit at the top of my backlog for awhile and I;ll never actually play it. I hear so many people says Rise is better, so I kinda figured why bother playing a worse version of a game I already played?

Loved BDO for exploring and life skills. I just didn't jave the patience for the endless gear grind to be eligible for pvp. I main a level 57 awakened sorc.

It's all about the lighting mane. Some games like Ghost of Tsushima makes it easy with photo mode. It's even easier on PC games because of softwares like Nvidia Ansel

yeah I did last year with all the updates ..... Wasnt for me or my previous group, we just kept running into stupid ubi style bugs, but we hated how less "fun" it was .... drones aren't fun or exciting to fight as humans, the world itself is less cool and active compared to wildlands ... even the story is try hard as fuk when wildlands was just stupid and fun.

yeah i used to think the game was ghey and for kids lol until I tried it out.... but it's super chill and relaxing and it's pretty fkkn funny as well when your group is doing all kind of stupid chit.

Well that is an interesting take. I definitely don't agree but I don't play Minecraft either. Different tastes. I think any story by Ubi is so trash it's hard to say one is much better than another. None are close to a Naught Dog narrative. I can see the humans over drones thing but I turned the drones off which helps a lot.

Just downloaded Zombie Army 4 as one of April's free games. I enjoyed Zombie Army 3 a while back and finished it. Recommend them if you like shooters.
