Job Careers and political views.

What careers have you noticed lean a certain way politically.

Obviously
teachers and academia = Liberal
Actors = Liberal
Computer Science = Liberal
Scientists = Liberal
Anything artsy = Liberal

Trades = Conservative
Accountants = Conservative
Finance = Conservative

Engineers = Crap shoot
Doctors = Crap shoot
Farmers = Crap shoot

What else?

You’d figure guys doing hard work would be Alfa but some of the biggest strawberries I’ve met were tradie (srs)

I notice at work the only people who say to not discuss political views are liberals.

I think you're saying that no individual has influence to affect politics?

I'm not talking about that. I'm asking what are people's opinions are on this.

Anybody who is a liberal has obvious mental issues, has no critical thinking skills or common sense. I work in the utility industry and 99% of the guys I work with are conservatives or libertarians (myself included)

Based industry, seems to have lots of opportunities to make bank. Tons of coops where vp's are making 400k or more in total comp

Where the programmers go, the liberal policy follows. It's either they're voting democrat, or the people they are pricing out are voting democrat. I think it's both of them.

Even news you read online has cops saying they hate the 2nd amendment and that people open carrying is too scary for them.

Doesn't make sense, since you would think if a criminal is going to murder a cop, he would just conceal whether open carry is legal or not.

For farming, they usually only have 3 choices from what I read. If they have a plentiful harvest and too much work, they either need prison labor, temporary agriculture workers, or illegals for temporary work. Liberals are always saying how farmers would rather hire illegals than use the other 2 options. That alone would.lead me to believe they will vote democrat off leniency when it comes to illegals.

Easy way to ask is if they like going to the shooting range, or if they like guns.

The rare liberal who loves guns is extremely rare in real life.

Or even simpler ask where they live. If in the city, it's a dead giveaway, they are a liberal. If they live in a conservative town, it's very likely they are conservative.
