Ey @Arem whatchu think about IPOE aka SOFI? Interested what you think about their valuation based on their current business + added banking charter that is incoming. I know you were hyping WFC back in the day and I've ridden that to almost 40% gains. Do you think SOFI has potential to go up substantially from current $16 or was valuation too rich? Keep in mind valuation set for SOFI is based on IPOE shares being valued at $10 so currently almost 70% from their initial agreement valuation. Pls respawn

Tesla needs to break $709 wall to go upside. If it doesn't could break below $600 again.

Next up after $709 would be $772 than $866.

Tesla has been stuck inside weekly value since end of January if you look at that chart.


Apple took 3 months to actually break higher.


Today strongest performers were Fang stocks. Maybe tmmrw its others turn.

My opinion EV market getting crowded and walls are closing in on Tesla.

Last year these delivery numbers would have printed bigly and today its trading sideways.

i think the main reason this is happening is because all of this 'good news' is already factored in. it has been for months

this is THE problem with tesla.

the expectations are SO HIGH that at any moment if it fails to deliver on them (and it will fail, because theyre that unsustainably high - thanks speculation) then the SP drops

TSLA is basically EXPECTED by the market to do crazy sh*t - that's why it's the price it is. so when it beats its delivery predictions, the novelty wears off once people see the share price and remember thats why its the level its at

probably haven't worded that very well.

The fact they are holding their valuation though is huge. Look how much they've run up. This validated their current valuation so any further big news will push it hard going forward.

@Smashed they are now tied to overall markets as people purchase or sell etfs that are tied to the index. This is kinda the double edged sword. They can go up on their own merit or drop similarly. But they can also take outsized gains/hits from general market moves too.

No one is investing heavily in nuclear unfortunately.

in 30 years when the US has grid issues b/c government makes carbon economically impossible there will still be China(although not as much), India, and probably all of Africa still relying heavily on oil/coal. Moving on from fossil fuels is expensive.

It was $900 start of year. Its not going to drop 50% in few months.

Any good news pushing it hard up can also be said for any bad news to go down hard.

If they miss on quarterly deliveries what happens than.

They are forecast to hit 1 million deliveries this year.

yeah so it was pretty obvious this was the pattern here. Another pump-fake day as I like to describe it or "uno-reverse" as Kevin calls it.

I guess this COULD be a theoretical explanation of what is happening.



interesting take on why its being like this.

I am at all times subconsciously thinking of how I could be reverse engineering patterns of market manipulators via gut instinct and this seems to add up to the patterns.

It might be more complicated than that though. They seem to be doing the one thing we don't want which is not moving enough in any direction and just treading water to wait us out or something. I just keep expecting the unexpected.

I think they'll continue to control prices while they can. I think oil won't be the most important commodity at some point in time. But that time is not now. One grid shut down, one solar flare, like in Texas is all we need for people to realize we have to use all commodities to reduce risk. We still need/use a chit load of oil in the airline industry and cargo, in general. Electric isn't even possible in airlines yet. Closest thing they can do is use batteries during cruising speed. And we're not there yet either.

Plenty of countries are still in a growth stage and won't be moving from oil use anytime soon.
