What they don't mention about this topic is we also have a gender imbalance in the west. We have a lot of female infanticide that nobody on the media ever reports on. But technically it's almost as influential / high as China. Like if 200 million kids are born in USA then it means quite a few million will simply never have a chance at finding a mate either.

Anytime they studied remote tribes they usually find more women than boys (Eskimoes, Amazonian natives) meaning female infanticide is pretty a cultural practice everywhere in the world once people have modern medicine.


The only time in western societies when women outnumber men is usually 50+ or 60+ but by then these women are menopausal.

I heard the same is true in Belarus, Russia and other places that have limited visa-exempts. Limited or non-existent visa exempt = less foreign men mucking about and thus your SMV goes to the roof. There's a finite number of foreign man hunters in these countries. Too many American dudes go to Colombia and Mexico so all the Gringo hunters there, for example, by now are locked down.

Foreigners can't become citizens (only in very rare cases can they become so), but they most certainly can become permanent residents. How do I know? I was one.

And I know conversational Putonghua.

Foreigners can rent apartments by themselves, and also own apartments (I and many foreigners I know have done this). They cannot own property with any land component.

Maybe it is you who needs to spend a bit more time there. You were wrong on almost every point you made above.

You can become a permanent resident after being married to a Chinese national & being there on a spousal visa or any other type of visa for 5 years. Rich people can also buy permanent residency with a USD$1.43 million investment into the country.
