Feeling some sort of way about ex-wife railing some dude.

Title edit: *getting railed by some dude

Nasty divorce, we do have kids together and co-parent quite well. She tells me that she’s going away for a few days with some guy she just started dating and I’ll have the kids for that time. Which is awesome. Didn’t expect to feel some way about it, though.

Anyway, I need you miscers to slap me back to reality in the only way the misc can. Don’t spare the “*******s” when doing so.

I feel bad for the dudes my ex dates...think of all the foul stuff she has pulled on you and this guys walking blindly into that sh!tstorm.

Spend time with kiddos and enjoy the fact that some dude is paying to remove her from your life for a few days

Hopefully she's at least protective of your kids and won't just let any man meet them. I'd worry about dude trying to be the dad or hurting my kids.

Getting laid isn’t the issue. God forbid I keep anyone from getting some strange. Not sure why that feeling popped up. Misc therapists doing the lord’s work here.

If you divorced here and did nothing to stop it, you don't care about here for real. You are just used to her, but you don't really like her or want to be around her.

So, you're like a kid who is playing with one toy and you don't want anyone to touch your other toy, but you aren't playing with it.

You don't honestly care much about her, so tell yourself "I don't really like or care about her" in the mirror, or whatever, and believe it.

If she died, you'd be sad a little, but not that much or for long.

15 years, 2 boys. High school sweethearts. Got to the point where we couldn’t be in the same room. Multiple deployments will do that.

How hard was it to go to not seeing the kids daily? That would be the hardest pill to swallow in a divorce for me.

I do see them everyday. They live 3 blocks from me so they can just walk back and forth. It works out well.

I assume recent divorce? If not you know she’s taken D, so really what’s rustling is her telling you about it so it must be somewhat serious?

That's life man, if nothing else you should hope he's a cool dude so that if he's around your kids at all ever he's at least a decent person. Not his fault ya'll had a falling out, homie is just trying to smash. It makes sense you would feel some sort of way, even if it's your ex you have kids with her and will always still value her to some degree, that's just part of human nature. Time for you to find your own lil honey to rail on the weekends when the kids are away.
