Back in the day there was a frenzy over concern TV would rot people's brains because they would think the TV was real life. That it would trick people into believing it was somehow real.

Funny how it so obviously wasn't ever going to do that. But how the internet has tricked billions of gullible people everyday into thinking fake news was real.

Also take into consideration how the average person takes an internet documentary as fact. Or just matter of factly accept their fav youtuber as a authority of information.

How everyone believes every viral video was just a random funny moment caught on camera.

Or that the 'person' your 'talking' to on the net is even a real person and not a govts psyop bot or agent.

This age will truly be remembered as the age of foolishness.

As a consumer in society you have been removed from all reality and placed in the borg collective.

Well surely that's a big contributing factor. But like most you try and apply a simple explanation to a massively complex issue.

All critical thought has been removed from us. Remember when going through school it was taught critical thinking was THE most important aspect of education? Now it's critical race theory.

In a perfect outcome of reality we will look back in awe at how easily humanity was tricked and fooled to believe almost anything using just the internet.

The internet should be drastically monitored just like all other media but we’re way to far along for that. Letting normal people on it was a mistake.

I was just thinking about this the other day.

My dad used to freak out about what was on TV, the news, etc and he was correct. I swear, I think every stereotype is true and people ended up forgetting it all is and that opened the door to brainwashing about many issues.

On the other hand, something you have to teach kids is the difference between fantasy and reality. So, many adults can't tell the difference between fantasy and reality and that's why they believe propaganda that is transparent to intelligent people. That means billions are little better than children intellectually.

Look at the totally bullsh!t stories of religion and how long that's been around. It's used by rich people to manipulate believers, and HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE if most people are smart.
