Cars totaled

Just got the call. Got hit in the back, back doors were totaled, but they're telling me the repair value is about 50% more than my cars value. Im so screwed

So, is the problem that you really liked the car and don't want to get a new one or can you not afford a new one regardless of the insurance payout? Need more information to understand in what way(s) you're screwed.

Just don’t be like me back in 17. I paid 13,000$ In 1 year on a 50,000$ car some illegal hit it with no insurance and no money and insurance said “wel lucky you have gap insurance/full coverage you don’t owe anything goodbye!”

13,000$ gone just like that illegal never even got in trouble, got a ticket to which I’m sure he didn’t show up for. Was in cookyfornia

You were suppose to get him deported.

Even if you didn't get any money out of it, you would've done society a solid. Hitting someone's car and not paying for it, puts you in a league below degenerates.

My lil bro just got hit and runned(left overnight in a parking lot) . Luckily for him it only cost $500 to fix up everything just to get it running again.
