I mean Lee crosstrained all kind of stuff and soaked that up, whenever the oportunity arose. Trained boxing from school on, learned judo from Gene LeBell, kicks from Taekwondo - he would just meet up with good MMA guys and trained that style backstage as well.

Traditional martial arts are worthless I saw a video from years back of exhibitions between some soviet amateur boxers vs black belt karate fighters and the boxers just beat the **** out of them lol.

Lol Bruce lee was arguably the father of MMA. He trained across different martial arts and was fast as phuk. If Bruce Lee could train MMA in modern times he would no doubt kick any average MMA dude's ass.

Bruce Lee's entire philosophy was to absorb as much as he could that worked from different disciplines. If he lived today he'd be doing what every ufc champion does.

Your average person is a moron, I used to do Wing Chun way back in the day and I remember my teacher and fellow student thinking Bruce would have a chance against Ali in a boxing match. Of course you also see plenty of people thinking he would have been able to beat Fedor, Tyson, etc.

The guy did seem kind of fanatical and like he had a really hardcore work ethic when it came to training though so...if he were alive today I think there's a pretty good chance he could have been successful in MMA at his weight class.

Just watched someting on this guy. Sad story but he is exposing the charlatans for their bogus chi blast and chit. The government is also ruining his life, making it impossible for him to travel and other stuff its crazy.
Theres a vid of him distroying some thai chi master and the fight ends in a draw and dude just laughs at the ridiculousness of it all.
