I'm iffy on some of the changes. I embrace the QOL stuff like stash/inventory, especially ladder runewords on non ladder characters. So i reckon they need more time to really think about changing core stuff so it's done properly and not rush it.

agreed, I think the stuff like increased stash space would be great and ladder/non-ladder runewords. balancing skills I think they should do after they release the game, charms probably not in favour of it because that could completely change the balance. modernized hotkeys, horadric cube encyclopedia, loot filter, additional item tooltip showing the min/max rolls.

I think over time they should add more end game content. I think after a 2-3 months or so people will just realize it's the same game with a different skin and just quit.

You could then hostile people from in town and your merc would kill them. This is after you convince them to drop their gear for whatever reason

Agree of all of that. I do play a lot of Path of Diablo so i am use to the charm inventory but year it can get ridiculous with the amount skillers you can put so if it isn't added (which I doubt it will) i'm fine with it.
I really really liked the corruption of items though. Added another layer of gear set up which im sure mods will add in the future.

Also I literally cant think of any downside if they put well thought out end game content.

Looks like I will be buying a new pc just for this.

pindlebot paid for ALL of my books in college. Every morning was like christmas, running to the computer to see what my haul was (or wasn't).

Also loved power leveling chars with the assistance of my enchant soccy. brb lvl 5 char almost able to take out mephisto lol

Also would lol hard af during cow runs when CK was lightning enchanted, and I would lure him to the group with enigma hammerdin, then spam the chit out of hammers and tele away and watch every die and reeeeeee lol

what gives you the idea that the testers would be "random"? did they ever state that?

of course streamers are gonna get invites. They stream it and generate hype for it. And they're friends with the community managers on twitter so it's easy to communicate with them about getting access. This isn't rocket science lol.

Some weird frame drop issues but besides that, as an Alpha it's looking not bad. Just don't go caving into "custom changes" requests and I think we could have a winner.

Haven't following but have they increased drop rate on higher level runes? I know you basically had to rely on duping if you wanted to make any of the good runewords in the original game.

it looks good, but I just have no faith in Blizzard not to ruin this game. Looking at their last couple projects they're really struggling to stay connected to the players it seems. I hoping this will be their redemption though.
