What's the stance on SCARs nowadays?

A decade ago they were all the craze and everyone had a hard on for them. Then they fell out of favor for a bit.

I thought they were pretty decent rifles just overpriced?

IDK seems expensive and kinda heavy to me, but the 308 semi auto market isn't quite as easy to pick as the 556 is.

I'd sure as hell take one if I won it, and keep it.
