If I'm cooking?

Well I broiled a steak and had that with a baked potato and salad tonight. Wanted a "real" meal instead of a sandwich or something heated up in the microwave.

Still didn't get the steak quite right and I was more careful.Last time I had the pan too close to the heating element and didn't flip the steak halfway through in the second part.

It wasn't well done, but probably at least medium well; just a little pink in the center.

Didn't really cost much less than just going to a restaurant TBH.

I think the chicken and veg sautee about a week ago came out better.

Just air fried 4 chicken thighs in some spicy dry rub and tossed them with one of those ceaser salad in a bags. Ate the whole thing. Delicious.

Top three currently

1 Heaven Sent/Ezells in WA state. They are basically the same but they split the company after the divorce. This is just really phucking good. I miss it so much

2. Gus's Famous Fried chicken in Socal- perfectly spicy, insane skin, meat has tons of flavor.

3. I can't remember the name of the place but it was in a little town in Louisiana. Fuking bomb ass southern style buttermilk chicken I remember it stood out significantly cause it has a bit of Dill in the seasoning.

4. Love and Honey in Philly

5. Dooky Chases in SC- their frying oil is a mix of bacon fat, ham hock, chicken grease and other stuff.

6. Princes hot chicken shack in Nashville- the birthplace of Nashville Hot I believe.

Honorable mentions-
Krispy Krunchy, these are usually in Valero Gas Stations

Korean Fried chicken- it's a different kind of fried chicken but it's good

Chick N Bros here in San Jose- it's a good truck with the best fried chicken sandwiches ever. They have every level of spicy including legit Carolina Reaper which you sign a waiver to eat.
