How vital is red meat for packing on muscles?
Im currently bulking and my diet consists of chicken and beans or potatoes and a lot of smaller snacks/foods but for dinner for example I eat mostly carbs (dinner is right after my workout) and its lasagna or spaghetti bolognese (Im currently eating spaghetti because Im full of lasagnas I had them for a month straight I cant eat them anymore lol)
Should I maybe eat some beef with potatoes instead

Can't ever neglect the red meat gainz
Next time you're cooking up dinner, throw a steak on a pan with some cold pressed virgin olive oil and just add some garlic and cook that to your liking hopefully it'll be medium and enjoy that and keep doing it
I tried kangaroo and it smells so damn putrid and is still red so it was bugging me and only ate it once

Hmm.
Having some animal products in your diet is definitely important for building muscle (yes it is, vegans - go look at the data). But red meat specifically? Not sure what it brings to the table that white meat, eggs, milk etc don’t provide.
It tastes good though

you don't need red meat at all dead serious. i'd say carbs are more important in putting on muscle/weight.
carbs like oats, beans, potatoes, cereal etc.
pair that with some protein like milk, chicken, fish and that's all you need.
red meat is probably the worst of all proteins, hard on your digestive system and taste like absolute ass

Personally I feel stronger and leaner when I have steak in my diet, srs. Probably just placebo though.

Red meat is full of iron and creatine. You should keep some on your plate even if it's just a couple of servings a week.

Most people rotate eggs, fish, chicken, pork, buffalo, and steak. I have observed that during a cutting phase, fish is the preferred choice while the others are staples during the rest of the year.
The only way to know how YOU WILL RESPOND op, is for you to buy a bunch on sale and see how you personally respond to it while lifting heavy.
Good luck!

Red meat is one of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet with an amazing amino acid profile
In the 80's when low fat diets were all the fad it got a bad rep so chicken breast took over but red meat is a great option for bulking

JFL @ using olive oil on steaks. Burning point is far too low. Need to use butter or ghee

You have digestive issues that most likely have nothing to do with red meat if you can’t digest it properly.
I’m not anti-carb, but it’s literally the one macro nutrient that you don’t need to survive, and many more people have digestive issues with carbs that red meat.

carbs are the absolute GOAT for making gains. also, red meat is not only an expensive retarded diet but bad for your digestive health. there is also such a thing as too much vitamins/minerals. good luck with your iron/vitamin A overload

I’ve been eating stake/beef for over 15 years. What would be a good replacement that isn’t chicken?
-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.
