For those who don’t trust the vaccine
How much time would have to, pass following all these vaccinations, for you to consider it safe to get? This obviously being in the event that the vaccine wasn’t found to cause any significant long-term side effects and wasn’t found to be particularly dangerous for the average person.
Are you holding out for a specific amount of time, or are you just completely against the idea of ever taking the vaccine?

Im someone who believes the vaccine is generally safe, but I dont see a reason to take it when Im already at low risk for covid complications. Just seems unnecessary to expose my body to that when the data shows I have no reason to fear covid.

it's more so the fact that it's very unnecessary
if covid was actually killing people left and right, sure
as we stand, the news cycle has brain washed people into thinking just that is occurring , so as for your vax no thanx

Been constantly exposed to the public in close proximity since this started, mostly unmasked. I’ve had the sniffles 3 times, so I’m 99% I’ve already had the virus.
Anyway....the “vaccine” just isn’t necessary no matter how much the government, pharmaceutical companies and sellout celebrities want you to think it is.

I trust it. I'll put it this way, sure I'd rather have nothing (no Covid and no vaccine) but if I had to choose, I'd rather take the risk of the vaccine over the risk of of Covid. I've heard of some legitimate long term effects. Most people recover but I'm connected to like 2 people who have had effects lasting about 8 months, and no signs of stopping. Lost smell, memory issues, etc. Most people don't get that but I'll still be getting the vaccine.
Most reports of "issues" you see with the vaccine aren't trustworthy sources, or cherry picking very rare cases.

Considering the risk-benefit ratio, right now I think the vaccine isn’t necessary for myself and the majority of people, especially younger or healthy people.
I’m curious about why people would consider getting vaccinated anytime soon. What’s the reasoning behind it if you are not old or vulnerable and aren’t being forced into it somehow?
Surely most people have already been exposed to the virus (likely many times over). If so, wouldn’t you already have experienced serious symptoms or long covid by now.
If you’ve had contact with others but not been ill, maybe you were an asymptomatic case.
If you’ve already had covid and became unwell (it wasn’t asymptomatic), do you not believe your symptoms would be milder if exposed again? Everyone I know who was ill with covid symptoms last year, and apparently caught it again, seemed to experience milder symptoms the second (maybe third or more) time round.
It’s not clear from the data out there if vaccinated people transmit the virus less to those around them. There was one study I heard about but apparently experts had varied views regarding the findings.

Your body changes cells about every 7 years. And you would need about double that time if some mutation is going to take hold.
Stuff like smoking and cancer seem to be about 20 years. Hep C takes about that long too.

I'm not against the vaccine but to me it seems like a dumb idea to invest so much money into it, because there's many different harmful organisms out there that can make you sick.
If you let your guard down because you took the vaccine, you'll get sick from something else.
The number of deaths from COVID just isn't reliable because the American media has proven itself to be an unreliable source of information.
