At this point I'm surprised no one has come at Ford, esp since his address is known. This **** is absolutely ridiculous, I swear if they impose a ****ing curfew esp when the weather is finally getting good.

Legit hope we get a variant that wipes out these politicians, such an embarrassment this whole pandemic.

My gawd, this province/country is awful. If I were just starting out in my career I would be spending my lockdown time looking into relocating to the U.S. I used to think Canada was a great place to live - not without its problems, but overall a high quality of life. Not anymore.

As much as I bitch, I have met the man and dont envy his position. He has a team of people advising him on what he should do...

Ontario culture definitely is unique (same with Quebec) in comparison to other provinces. Most provinces had strict lockdowns and seemed to follow suit no problem; even BC handled it quite well.

I don't think a curfew will hit, but I'd be shocked if they halted construction, as we are limited for when work can be done.

What else can you shut down? Would this have not been easier to just give paid sick days to people who may be sick, and if they refuse to take it, then penalize them for putting others at risk?
