Anyone still on dating apps?

Fuk am I the only one here?

I gave up on dating apps and tried it again today and matched with a few. So I decided to message one since her photo was at some hiking trail and I love hiking. Got one word answers so I figured she wasn’t even interested so didn’t bother to keep going.

Me: “Beautiful background, where was that taken”

Her: Trail

Me: oh nice I haven’t been there. Round 2? “Wink face”

You have to remember that 50%+ of people on dating apps have literally zero intention of meeting up with anyone. It's purely for validation.

If they show really low interest like that, sure it's worth asking if they want to meet up, but not worth pursuing further.

I am luckily off now as i have met my partner who I am happy with most of the time.

Happy to leave those things as I found that men date down and women date upwards.

Nah went out with a girl back in Jan (still seeing her) I deleted all of my dating apps a week later. Not because of her, but because I was just tired of dating apps. We aren’t in relationship so I can still have them if I wanted to, but then I remember how much of a waste of time they are. I’d much rather talk to the girl at my gym with a nice thick booty. Still trying to figure my approach on that.

I deleted them months ago, just not worth the time. 90%+ girls just use them for validation, to get Instagram followers, or just to have someone to talk to for a while without any intention of ever meeting up. I really think dating apps are a waste of time for any males who aren't either top 5% of looks or rich. Better to get involved in as many activities as possible and talk to girls that way.

Dating apps are an absolute joke in 2021. They were bad before but nowhere near as trash as they are now. 7:1 male/female ratio sausagefest, females get spammed with 100 messages within minutes of creating accounts, no matter how ugly she is she still gets swarmed with compliments that inflate her ego to the moon. If you're not a top tier Chad then don't even bother.

I agree with True. Been using them since July. It’s hit or miss. I’ve met a few girls that turned out pretty decent. Most are attention whores with zero intentions of meeting up.

A close female friend of mine (40, no kids, chubby, one full body pic to disclose said chubbiness, 6/10 with a 120k salary) showed me her dating apps one day as I was curious. Messages in all her apps were 100+ waiting in her inbox to be opened. Daily.

I have ditched dating sites as they are hypergamy sewers. I'm in UK. Average face, 170 /15%/5'10, no kids.

Can't get a dickie bird out of height weight proportionate woman under 150lbs. I'm not messaging models or hot women, just regular plain Jane's that look normal weight.

Get an occasional woman reach out and say "hi sweetsie" to me first or add me to likes, but they are all horrifically fat, like 200- 250 pounds with kids. One was 400lbs+ and disabled 55yo.
