look at all that COIN insider selling. I removed my measly buy at $250 phuck that shiit.

$5 billion worth of COIN was sold off.
If you were confident in your product why are you dumping it?
meanwhile Cathie/ARK is buying all those bags. ARK exposure is now $500 million

coin is massively overvalued and overhyped imo.
i dont see the point in even owning COIN, when you could just own bitcoin. crypto and anything crypto related always move together
same as gold/silver and their miners. doesn't make sense to own both

1) you reward your employees allowing them to sell and not have to watch retail/institutions make bank on day 1.
2) price discovery/true valuation is achieved much sooner.

Not sure how you are seeing it as overvalued. Under $350 is a buy for long term holding.

During Doge season, Doge multiplies and BTC stays steady.
Owning COIN is almost like owning all crypto.
Doge is the Doge of Cryptopoli right now lol.

and secondly, lets say btc moves up and alts go down- and then alts move up and btc goes down - the share price of COIN isn't gonna increase is it cos they'll be counteracting each other
all you need to do is look at any of these blockchain stocks being traded. imo this is no different, just really overhyped atm cos its fresh and btc is at an ATH lol.
i'll bet money that when btc corrrects coin is tanking

However, this makes me wonder about COIN longer term. If someone comes in and has a reputable trading platform with lower/cheap as doge fees, then COIN is going to run into some trouble.

Looks like citadel was really really really busy all through the night.
Like more people on their top 6 floors at 2am then the entire building Monday 7am busy.
Wonder why gensler got confirmed Saturday instead of Monday.

So most people post there degen plays in this thread but what does your long-term portfolio look like? I'm a Biotech brah and prefer to just invest in things I know so I have some AMD, Thermofisher, Charles Rivers, and Idexx as my long-term holds. Not to diversified but those companies aren't going anywhere.

I don’t know about you fellas but my portfolio looks like bloody roadkill. With the exception of Tesla of course.
Had a Bitcoin order for 5k to hit at 57k. Forgot that I set it and it filled yesterday.. there goes some of my cash to “buy the permanent dip” tomorrow lol.

Although the reserves were huge they couldn't keep the cash flow going, but because they were OTC they painted a very rosy picture. Although I sold without taking losses eventually they just went bankrupt because local groups blocked the single road to their mines and suddenly they couldn't produce anything for awhile. I was very interested in OTC companies for awhile but haven't had one that popped off hard from me holding long term. Gotta be careful with OTC companies that can get away with some egregious accounting games and what I consider to be overly optimistic reports.I've read daily about it for the past several weeks.
Basically a powerhouse team with renowned experts. Used a soil analysis study completed years ago for millions of dollars, sent it to a leading expert in Houston who said there has never been a basin this deep without substantial amounts of oil. Conservative estimate they did if the huge land that they rented(12% of land has oil) is 120 billion barrels of oil making it one if not the biggest basin ever discovered on earth. The initial drilling results from well 1 confirmed 660 feet of oil & natural gas indicators over three discrete intervals. Their estimate was 400ft but discovered 660ft.
They are just in a discovery phase so no fracking and hopefully no fracking ever needed for the basin. Not all the resources are recoverable and who knows if some of it even will be. This would put a conservative price range for the stock at around $100-$200 with wild estimates(should they discover a huge amount that's recoverable) of up to a $1000. They need to complete the two other wells before they can create a map of the basin.
Now this is a highly speculative play like you mentioned but Namibian government has a 10% stake in it no strings attached with the possibility of investing more should the pieces fall in place.
There's a lot of misinformation about them doing fracking, un-environmental disposing of byproducts, kicking out the indigenous people etc. but if you look at the videos they've put on their website and interviews done with the management, this is not the case at all.
The way I see it, is if you have some cash to gamble with, throw a couple of grand or more into it and if you get lucky and the discovery is as huge as the management anticipates, your 2k would turn to 200k or more. I only dropped what I can comfortably lose and not cry over on the off-chance that the stars align and it'll print 7 figures.
The current price should be $10 according to some analysts.
If you do decide to join the lottery where either everyone wins or everyone loses, I'd wait a bit as the price is most likely going to drop. 100% increase in two days is not sustainable in any way.
On reddit.com/r/reconafrica you can see all sorts of estimate calculators and a deeper look into what the business is about but this is nothing like EEENF that got pumped and dumped recently.
