HEB and Kroger are like 11pm closing. I think walmart is 10 or 11pm too. I have heard walmart is never gonna be open 24 hours again!!! wtf

Yes...I have a 30 minute drive to the gym and work out at 4:00 A.M....always used to go to store at 5:00 after gym to get suppliies
Now I have to go back later in the day and it's a waste of an hour round trip drive time
Retired...no smartphone....no neighbors......just holes...

I'm out late pretty often so it's kind of annoying, but it must make sense. When I used to go to Walmart at 2 am I'd be the only one there, other than the workers stocking shelves. What's worse is that everything closes early now. I used to go out to eat late, now all the restaurants seem to close at 8 here, including weekend nights.

Yep now they open at 7 or 8 and busy from the time they open. No way to avoid waiting 1/2 hour in line for slow as heck checkouts

Laughs in Japanese.
Can't miss something that's still common.
Sucks that many drinking establishments have to close by 8pm though.

The ones that do stay open get too crowded.

Miss the casinos and the drug running sloots I'd pick up on.

Chevron is still 24/7 down the street, but I prefer darimart. Joy the manager gives me hugs when I come in (not a sexual thing)

A few months ago, my modem got killed by lightning. It was like 7:30 PM on a Saturday, and the ISP was closed on Sunday. I ran to Walmart to buy a new one. Almost didn't make it because they closed at like 8:30PM on a ****ing Saturday...

Walmart not being 24 hours is a travesty. There's some nights I just want to stroll into a Walmart and shop away from all the old people or office workers going home from work.

The one down the street from me is only open to people over like 65 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m I think, due to covid.

I just go to stores right when they open. Otherwise I have to wait behind OldCels or something who are buying 2 months of food at 10 PM - 3 PM.

This year was especially bad as I saw people panic shopping. Saw a dude that must have had 500 cans of soda in a shopping cart for example.

No idea about USA but I've lived in multiple countries since the pandemic and 24 hour stores were the first one to close down. Maybe to "air out" the virus for old people?

I think the real reason is that there aren't people coming in after bars at 2AM or people stopping in before work at 3-4AM anymore, so there's no reason to be open during those hours.
