Black chicks look better with their natural hair. When they straighten it it looks stiff and hard. Either leave it natural like that chick has it or do the curly look like this

Man, I have to choose between moving to Northern California (near Sacramento), New Mexico (middle of nowhere), Illinois (outside St. Louis), DC (at the White House), or possibly Georgia (near Macon) or Idaho (outside Boise). Neither is guaranteed. Two of those locations I have to apply for the job. My trump card however is apply for retirement and stay right here in the panhandle by the beach.

Checking in from Africa. Driving is definitely an experience, as there are no rules and everyone acts like lanes don't exist. There are goats literally everywhere...

Imagine going down a two lane road at 55-60 MPH. There is a steady stream of oncoming traffic. People are passing you on the left, and the right simultaneously, and both trying to merge back in front of you to avoid hitting something in their path. Repeat for an hour.

Also, stoplights are apparently merely a suggestion that everyone ignores.

Beautiful place though. Did live fire down near the gulf

Not sure about Boise but northern Idaho is basically an extension of the the British Columbia Okanogan valley along the Kootenay mountains.

Mild winters and amazing summer weather. Epic landscapes and deep cold-water lakes for fishing, one of my favourite places on earth.

I can't deny that California has a lot to offer. However, you pay for it in spades. If it's a short term deal, then you will probably do just fine and really enjoy it. I'm a couple hours south of Sac, but it's similar. The traffic around Sac is awful, but you're basically 2 hours from either the beach or the mountains/lakes.

I think I would have picked Boise though, but I'm biased.

My neighbor was a GM with a major industrial telecom company that got bought out. He wasn't a fan of the merger and took a severance package. Found out the terms of his non-compete say that the company pays him 100% of his salary monthly for 18 months if he's not working in the industry, then whenever he does take a job he gets half the balance in a lump sum. He's since elected to take the summer off.

He's taken to being in a lounge chair on his front patio with a beer when the rest of us get home from work, I feel like he's rubbing it in a little.

Gonna have to ride an hour after work today to go look at Tahoe for my wife. The used car market is hot as hell right now. Every decent deal is snatched up in less than a day. At least we should be able to sell the one she has now easily.

What really pisses me off is that car dealers take advantage of women so bad. My back hurts like hell but I've got to go to make sure they don't try and screw her over.

don’t sleep on this one. boise has changed a ton in the last decade and the greater treasure valley area population has grown to nearly 1 million but it’s still a great location. i live on the other side of the state cause mountains but boise/meridian/nampa/eagle are legit

There are quite a few Californians that I know that have made the move up there. All of them have been the older retirement crowd, but they seem to really like it there. I think I've mentioned before that my boss has sold the majority of his farms here (almonds and grapes) and re-invested it into property in the Boise area. Mostly medical buildings.
Last I heard/read, that valley was growing at some crazy rate of 40k people per year. And, like clockwork, the housing market up there is on fire because of it.

What really pisses me off is that car dealers take advantage of women so bad. My back hurts like hell but I've got to go to make sure they don't try and screw her over.
