I wouldnt have an issue with his silence/absence if there was zero effort to make changes. If he was a silent President while doing nothing, I would be ok with it.

The problem is that there is an agenda and significant changes being pushed and old corn pop is absent to support the changes or answer questions about the changes...

The media under Trump was the outlier. They were hellbent on making up false story after false story to give the perception of chaos and unrest, and to ultimately get him out of office.

Most policitians under those circumstances bend the knee to the pressure, but Trump stood up for himself and doubled down. He refused to be a political puppet.

The media has had plenty of chances to do the same to Biden-- they could go all in on stories of Hunter Biden's lap top, Biden's profiting from foreign countries while VP and beyond, Biden unmasking Trump officials while lying about it (aka spying on political opponents), Biden bending the knee to China, Biden's border crisis, Biden's mental and physical fitness, etc.

Yet they refuse to write anything negative about him. Instead, they make up stories about some republican congressman/senators and try to smear them.

Now ask yourself why.
