It’s weird in games if you pick a female character but the gender doesn’t change the gameplay or story.

Yeah, I get it. The roze skin has the double whammy of smaller hitbox and really hard to see in dark areas. Still can't bring myself to do it. I run Ghost and live (usually die) with the consequences because I like when he says "Bagsy on that."

I played as a female orc in WoW for a bit because the character model is smaller. So if there is some type of competitive advantage I'm cool with it.

Also some people do it and pretend to be females because players will give them freebies.

I make all of my create a characters look like me although I probably wouldn't if I was a 400lb neckbeard. I always used peach in Super Mario 2 because she had the best jump. I have no problem choosing female characters who have advantages but in role playing type games I want the characters to look like me

The only game I've ever played female characters on is Tekken 7. I have no idea why... They look cute and you can dress em up in sexy clothing. It's also funny whopping people with highschool girls lol.

All other games I prefer males and if I can customize I try to make them look like me.

Most normal people aren't thinking sexually when they play video games. The character they create is an extension of themselves - we control them, choose what they look like, what they do.

The fact they were even thinking about staring at a male character's ass is my point. If anything, the appearance/physique of the male character is a sense of pride, much like one's own appearance/physique in real life.

It's like saying that looking at yourself in the mirror is gay, or looking at your dick while urinating is gay.

never thought once that a character i create was an extension of myself, ever, because it's a fuking video game and I'm playing it for the gameplay, story, etc. and I aint tryna spend 3 hours customizing eyelash length and nose position
