Return to old work?

Alright so I dont know if you guys are aware of this but heres the thing. I work in this pastry shop and for some time I have been thinking of quitting, I just dont see myself here long term and I work with mostly chicks and its been a pain in the ass to work there. Anyways I have recently seen job application for a hotel receptionist. I have been thinking of building career either in hospitality or fitness (I study german and I plan on studying italian) now heres the catch. The hotel that is looking for a receptionist is the hotel I used to work in. Although it was my first job and I worked there briefly (1 month) I dont know should I apply for the job there.
I didnt really leave there on bad terms but I got into a huge fight with the chick that I believe doesnt work there anymore.
Fyi that was 3 years ago so maybe they dont remember me anyways

Idk guys I mean I can at least apply for job and I have been thinking of quitting my job for some time because I cant work with these bitches there anymore and I dont see myself there long term.

I dont know what to do

If I really have to go with a choice I would apply and if they hire me and I DONT satisfy at least I will know that hospitality career isnt really for me so I will go after fitness. Idk your opinions would do good too

Assuming they liked you, they could give you a reference for the position with whatever person oversees hiring for reception.

I gave you advice a long time ago to leave that dead end job in the pastry shop. You didn't listen to me and now I'm afraid you'll end up there flipping donuts for life. Is this what you want to do with your life, you SOB? JFLOL.

No I dont have but this one lady that works there as an accountant was so kind that decided to give me my money back that I paid for sanitary permission to work there. I dont know how you call it there in America (class and test that proves I can handle food)

Lol there isnt much out there tbh covid ****ed **** up. Like I said I want to make a career in hospitality or fitness. Tourism is ****ed so its hard to find a job in that field. The thing is you can always find a job as a waiter in a damn cafe bar but **** that **** bro I aint gonna work in no damn street cafe. I could find a job in at least sport shop with sport merchandise but I cant find any.

There are two options.

One is to **** it and risk everything and if they hire me I try and dont make it and Im jobless (with not much money I dont have much cash)

Two, I can hang at this job for some time until I save some cash and then find something else but God knows if I'll get an opportunity like this.

Thanks bro. In life you have to make hard choices and be ready to risk it. I see when you are too comfortable somewhere how hard it is to make difficult decisions but thats the wrong approach. If they hire me but things dont go as planned theres always another chance somewhere

good luck. i wouldn't worry if it was 3 years ago. odds on a lot of staff have passed through and maybe even managers have changed.

will you say you have worked there before in an interview?

Youre overthinking it. just present yourself well. if they mention it just say I left on great terms. no one will check.
