ITT I aware you of the best overall/all-round time-saving grip strength exercise
It's called a deadhang - I don't know if you nerds have heard of it
Easy to progress: try one arm deadhangs + weighted
Literally all you need to do. Don't waste time doing a million different grip exercises. Don't waste time risking injury on a deadlift by going raw, unless your a competing powerlifter.
Deadhangs > farmers walks > double overhand deadlifts

If you just want to build your general grip strength, but don't want to waste your time all day doing weird grip ****? Just hang from a pull up bar after you do your pull ups.

I learned this from a calisthenics guy on youtube (thenx). Yesterday I managed to move myself upwards with one hand on the bar for the first time. One day I'll be able to do true legit one handed chin ups from half way, starting from the bottom really is something else though but I try that too as much of a gymnastics trick as it feels like with all the tension on weird areas.
Cant comment on grip strength though cause I cant get into a gym but I'm always getting stronger anyways, have no doubt my grip is improved, could barely even hang for a second at first, now I can hang for 10s comfortably, I do wonder about the transferability of the strength gained in this exercise to other ones though

Seems like a waste of time when you could just be doing a legit exercise.
Why wouldn't you rather do a farmer carry that's also working your core and glutes at the same time? Or deads or bent over rows or any fukking thing more productive?

Literally all it takes is to walk over to a pull up bar and hang
that's it
done
no need to waste time grabbing heavy dumbells to walk with
no need to risk injury going double overhand on deadlifts or bent over rows
and u can just do the deadhangs after your normal pullups - which is an exercise most normal people do anyways

I just keep a variety of grip tools on my desk and use them throughout the day.
Dead hangs are good for shoulders, but idk about grip. Just do your deadlift warmups with double-overhand grip and you'll get plenty of extra grip work in.
