1980s music better than 1990s & 2000s movies/TV better than 1990s
1980s had better music than the 1990s.
2000s had better movies and TV shows than 1990s.
IMO, but what do I know I wasn't alive during either of those three decades to be honest....

Misc Senior checking in.
The early 90s was basically the same as the 80s, so it's hard to compare directly.
There's no question that 1982-1992 was the best 10 years in American history.
1993-1998 were alright years. Definitely a shift in the culture started around 1995.
1998-2000 was when things started going downhill.
The 80s overall was a better decade, but 1990-1992 was peak America.

I'll go a step further and say that 1980s & 2000s wrestling is better than 1990s wrestling (which is evident by "peak" statistics that relate to pro-wrestling such as TV ratings, PPV buyrate).

it just got romanticised because 90s kids were the first ever generation to be on the internet en masse so previous decades never got the same kind of recognition

Sorry dude, that's 90's right there. Argument presented in OP is invalid.
