My buddy worked the entire time time while receiving unemployment. It’s the weird loophole because if the Covid bill. I believe he got 4k a month at one point just from unemployment and he worked so another couple grand.

My neighbor hasn't worked since the benefits started to roll in and has no plan to go back. I go to work every day, and shes out there living the boomer life doing nothing but drinking and buying chit she doesn't need. It actually isn’t according to the Covid bill if your hours were reduced to part time you can collect unemployment. As long as you’re under 40hrs you can collect.

I had to use these benefits because the company I worked out got fuked up and people had to leave.

Had two jobs lined up but many outbreaks happened so they couldn't train and had to do remote work.

My wife is a recruiter. She took over a warehouse in Minneapolis a couple weeks ago. She can't get anyone to work because her company starts people are $17/hr but in Minny they make $21/hr on unemployment.

This sums up how I feel + I am worried about the end game. The entitlement of these ppl does make this wagie ragie. But at some point once we are pacified AF, the rug is going to be pulled and we are all going to be living a slave existence dedicated to supporting the lifestyles of the rich and powerful. We are basically taking a reverse mortgage on our collective futures.

It's not their fault that they were born into a flawed cuckpitalist model as wageslaves. It's been proven. again and again that capitalism has failed. Is it really surprising how unmotivated they are considering their chitty situation?
And them buying useless crap like new iPhones is EXACTLY what the oligarchs class tells them to do, so they can live a perpetual cycle of consoomption and debt.

I know they’re will be downsides to it but if it’s can be done correctly ie. take away welfare and let the UI be that as well then it will prob not only work but be necessary at some point. I’m with Andrew yang on the position that we will eventually need it so why not start getting the system in place now.
